  1. Hi guys keep away now that they are Marshals. I bought from them last May 2024 and I have had nothing but problems. Being told a turbo issue was a battery power issue and providing me with the wrong locking nut and take three weeks to sort it whilst I had to drive around with one nut less in a wheel!
  2. I bought a 72 Superb SEL and it has automatic headlights but they stay on unless the sun shines directly at the windscreen. The sensor area is clean. I have found that recently I have had to leave the windscreen heater on and that helps turn them off. The annoying things is I have a virtual cockpit and if you manually have the lights off, it annoyingly takes up half the screen telling you to turn on the lights. I have the setting to low sensitivity so it should not be want to turn on during daylight. Lets see what the dealer says.
  3. It is a 72 reg so a mk3. How under charged they didn’t say. Looking to buy a trickle charger just incase. Looking at CTEK MXS 5.0 or a noco genius 5 as I have a EFB+ 5A battery. But don’t know if CTEK MSX5.0 will work as the noco specifically states it support EFB batteries.
  4. Hi battery isn’t that old and dealer said that the battery was fine but undercharged. What surprised me was that as said the battery was on the alternator so would have sufficient charge after 100 miles of motorway driving. I will get the code from the dealer. They didn’t share it nor the repair report.
  5. Was on a long motorway drive when 100 miles in my car showed up an EPC warning and the car started to limp. It disappeared after restarting the car. It was ok the next day but the following day, I had it again when I did another motorway run. Took it straight to the dealer and he said the diagnostic showed turbo underboost issue but not conclusive. Took it dealer in prearranged slot for repair and this time it said low battery power caused it. I am sceptical about this and would like to know if this could be the real issue as I hadn’t driven it in a while. Any clarification would be great. Thx
  6. Hi my skoda superb mk2 has shown a 01543 code on the diagnostic tool. So I know the issue is the rear warning buzzer in headliner. But can't seem to get the side pillar trims off. Can get my hand into the headliner to the buzzer but the plastic rivots won't loosen to release the buzzer. Is there a tool or technique? Could it be something else as I sprayed water under the car when washing it to get the salt off. Wondering if that could have caused an issue. Any help ir suggestions welcomed.
  7. Buzzer won't move. Tried to lever it out but the place holder bends but the riverts that are meant to be easy to remove haven't budged. I hate these people!
  8. Just to add, I also sprayed my cars undercarriage so wondering if that could have caused the issue ans th diagnostic tool is pointing to the wrong issue.
  9. Hi Got same issue but the side trims are near impossible to unclip. They are plastic body with a metal clip. I seem to be able to get my fingers on the buzzer through the headliner but can't unclip the wire or buzzer. It's frustrating and infuriating why they put things where it's impossible to replace. Spoke to dealer and they said that they'll charge £56 just to perform diagnostic check. God knows how much they'll charge for the replacement.
