  1. Does anyone have a photo of Prestige floor mats in L&K? I wonder if their colour match the back seat footrests. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  2. As per the manual, the 12V sockets also work if the ignition is switched off. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  3. My Nexus 6 fits into that box - and there aren't many bigger phones around. Though I was stupid enough to pay £23 for a Skoda right-angled micro-USB cable which stops the lid from closing - I should have opted for the one for £2 from fleabay Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  4. This is what it should look like: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/new-skoda-superb-2015-review-pictures#4
  5. Manual page 108 fig. 131 shows a luggage net attached under the parcel shelf. My L&K Hatchback came with 3 nets for the Boot Net Programme option but I can's see this net included. Did anyone get it with the car? Is it available separately? It looks practical.
  6. I paid £80 to the dealer to get the car fitted with them on delivery. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  7. My L&K came with standard mats. I've just ordered the rubber ones and a tunnel cover from Superskoda - around £45 delivered. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

  9. As per http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/384798-columbus-wlan-hotspot-and-client-no-premium-wlan-how-to-bridge Without Premium WLAN clients connected to Columbus hotspot can't browse the Internet even when Columbus is connected via WLAN client.
  10. Sorry to reiterate one of the questions asked previously: What is the point of WLAN Client function of the Columbus head unit? In other words, why would the car itself (and not the passengers' phones / tablets) need an Internet connection?
  11. When my foot is off accelerator in Eco mode, the Maxidot will show "Coasting" and I see that RPM stays at idle (about 800) until I press either brake or accelerator pedal, so it seems that the clutch is disengaged. According to Highway Code: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/general-rules-techniques-and-advice-for-all-drivers-and-riders-103-to-158 Rule 122 Coasting. This term describes a vehicle travelling in neutral or with the clutch pressed down. It can reduce driver control because engine braking is eliminated vehicle speed downhill will increase quickly increased use of the footbrake can reduce its effectiveness steering response will be affected, particularly on bends and corners it may be more difficult to select the appropriate gear when needed. Question 1: does this rule somehow not apply to DSG or any other vehicle with automatic transmission? Question 2: does this actually save fuel?
  12. My Nexus 6 running stock Android 6.0.1 works fine with Android Auto.
  13. Data SIM card enables Wi-Fi devices connected to the Wi-Fi hotspot built into the Columbus head unit to access the Internet. Basically, passengers with a WiFi-only iPad or any other tablet will be able to browse the Web, use Facebook, watch Youtube etc. The same function can be achieved with - a smartphone phone with enabled tethering (mobile hotspot function); - an rSap-compatible phone connected to Columbus via Bluetooth.
  14. Thank you Sagalout, that makes perfect sense.
  15. I think it comes on automatically only if the humidity inside is high enough and the temperature outside is cold enough for it to start misting up. There is only automatic demisting but no automatic defrosting. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  16. Dealer talked me out taking extended warranty on purchase because manufacturer's extended warranty isn't transferable to a new owner if I sell the car. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  17. Manual page 165: I suppose the question is how long that break has to be?
  18. Manual page 165: What happens in reality is as soon as ACC stops the car, Maxidot will show "ACC ready to start" and won't start the engine until I press the accelerator. Is this automatic stop/start interfering with ACC?
  19. Yes that works for me too, except any device connected to Columbus WiFi can't see the internet.
  20. No, there is no Network Settings in the menu. I think it's because there is no premium WiFi so no SIM card slot or rSAP.Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  21. Finally got my L&K 2.0 TSI DSG last week. Love it. I did not order Premium WLAN as I have tethering (hotspot) on my Android phone. I understand (and the Columbus manual seems to confirm) that without Premium WLAN it should still be able to bridge the two connections and anyone connected to Columbus Hotspot should be able to access the Internet though WLAN client which is connected via tethering. But it doesn't seem to work. WLAN client connection works. WLAN hotspot works and devices can connect to it. But devices connected to Hotspot can't connect to internet. [<geeky stuff] ipconfig reveals that the default gateway option is not supplied by the DHCP server in Columbus. [/geeky stuff] I do understand that I could just connect devices to the phone hotspot directly, but then what's the point of Columbus WLAN client function? Many thanks in advance!
