Your opinion,ive seen the dyno graph's.if it never made a difference why would Vag produce such a thing and fit it to their range of cars. 10bhp is hardly noticable,especially if your car is standard and lacking the out of the factory figures.ill add the graph's when i find them

I could not say 100%,i suppose if it was a race car and every bhp counts its worth chasing...everyday i cant say ive noticed.but my power is back to it should be because of the hose. But it certainly picks up alot more furiously than it did before.combined with the hose hard to say....someone else could just pop their lid off to see maybe?

Its proven to improve the air flow whilst on the move...alot of cars in warmer climates were fitted with it. When i fitted mine i replace a hose so can't say for sure its improved.Any car is likely to get some warm air whilst stationary. If you google the part number they did a few dyno runs with different filters and with a BMC panel filter it gained 10ps 9BHP. Instead of ripping it all out and feeding a pipe in and a big cone filter,i thought this was a good idea.

Fitted this yesterday and i rekon it has made a slight improvement. Its from the golfs and used in warmer climates. Thought id share

N/S/R door lock [fixed] Aircon leak [fixed] Rear shocks [fixed] Possible wheel bearing [fixed] Blocked rear jet [fixed] Wiper motor now packed up Wiperblades [fixed] Rear taillight bulb error fault [fixed] EGR and throttlebody cleaned[do this to all my new cars] Rear brake shields fell off(fixed) Heater has a mind of its own(wasn't broken,when reversing flap close's to stop fume's entering cabin)

Another update nothing special. Ordered this to try,used on the golfs in warmer climates. A dipstick snapped the lugs :p And few other bits. Part number for 2008 cr170 engine

Diagnosed NSF engine mount today. Whilst i was there i noticed few bits were missing,and gearbox balance weight was loose See what i mean,looks like a piece of rubber and a flap on the back is missing

Yes you are bang on,i know it very well being on my door step. I do alot of xc mountain biking and its brilliant,especially at night. Scary when off on a track and the clouds decide then want to see you. I've too been in a snow storm 2 year ago,had my children with me,quite scary at the time.kids were small.

Brown Clee not to be confused with Clee hill. No other snow for miles. I wish i had taken my camera.but it was a long walk home. Iphone did well,i was shocked when i uploaded them,there are some wild ponies in bottom picture,can you spot them,exposure isn't good.
