  1. Close call with the CX5 then for the limit.

Im sure the 150 will be fine... will be a decent length once a caravan is on the back.. i used to have a 550 on the back of my BMW e60.

I am thinking the 150 will be fine. I have a Swift Fairway 550 which is 1326KG (1490KG max), My Mondeo (similar engine) has been the best tow car I have had and I can't see how the Superb is going to be any different. Hopefully better!

    Thankfully I have B+E

  2. That's interesting as mine is confirmed week 7 and SUK said week 7 is wc 15th FEB, so interesting that they say factory is 1 week ahead.

Last week SUK said mine was confirmed build week 6, which I was told was this week (wc 8th) but when I spoke to my dealer they said it was being built last week (wc 1st)!

So today I contacted SUK and was told the car had been built and was in Grimsby!! My dealer says that it has been built but is waiting to be shipped and it won't be going to Grimsby.

Any idea who actually knows what is going on :notme:

  3. Interesting, my son purchased the new i10 1.2 Petrol Premium last year, he is in the RAF and just wanted a small run around, its the second one he has had, it is a fantastic little car, cost him just over £10K, it has cruise control, elec adjustable & heated mirrors, bluetooth, front & rear elec windows, air con, I'm looking after it for him whilst he is out of the country, drives really well, great value for money, very impressed.

When I was made redundant, after having had company cars for as long as I can remember, I bought an i10 with just delivery miles for about £7000. It was a great little car and bigger on the inside that you would think. Ended up with a new job the far side of Taunton and driving from Bristol and back every day. It coped very well on the motorway and in some respects I was sorry to see it go, once I was given a company car again.

  4.

BW 2 started on the 10/11th of Jan.  There is a reason, 2015 had 53 BWs the 53rd of which cut into Jan this year so BW 1 started on the 3rd/4th of Jan the see the calendar below.  I was given this information by SUK and checked it by Googling 2016 calendar with weeks.

EDIT.  Sad to say the forum won't let me show the calendar but no problem just Google as above.  Various dates as it depends on which day you consider to be the first day of the week.  For those of you sitting in nice warm offices its probably Monday for those of us covering 24/365 it will be Sunday.

Oh yes! So it probably still will be BW2!

Confused! When I spoke to SUK on Monday they said my car was unconfirmed BW6 and mentioned the 1st February which I have to say I thought was week 7. Spoke to the dealer today and they confirmed the information given by SUK.
