  1. Yep, but gen5 is "permanent 4WD" since rear axel has always atleast 5% of the total torque. Gen5 is never only 2WD (unless you overheat the system).
  2. Propably a mistake since dry clutch box (which by the way has 7 gears) has a lower torque limit (250 Nm; sorry I only understand the metric system) than 220ps requires.
  3. That is probably a safety feature so that people coming from behind can spot your car better. Especially in fog or blizzard might make a difference in you staying healthy or not. Of course this doesn't apply if there already is a car stationary behind you. I agree that modern led tail lights are very bright and not very nice to look at a close distance for longer periods.
  4. Sportline production is already scheaduled to start from week 22 (last week of may) so it shouldn't take up to christmas to receive one. And you most likely can put in your order a month or two before that. In that timetable first cars would probably hit the streets in late june.
  5. Hi guys! I'm a new member from Helsinki, Finland. I've been reading Briskoda for a while since I have my sight on new Superb State 280 sportline and Briskoda seems quite active and a good source of information. My first new car was Octavia Combi II TFSI RS which I had for over six years (2006-2013). Currently I'm driving Audi A3 1.8 TFSI Quattro but we're (my wife and I) planning on getting a large dog and as you well know, A3 isn't quite up to that task. Having had the first 4x4 I don't ever want to give up on that. We still have deacent winters even in southern Finland so 4x4 is a great plus here. New Superb State has maximum roominess and all the modern safety and comfort equipments within our financial reach so that is our most likely choice as soon as the sportline will appear on catalogues. By the way, Skoda is 3rd best selling car company in Finland so we seem to have a keen eye on good price-quality-ratio! I would send warm greetings from the cold Finland, but I'm currently on vacation in Myanmar. Back home is up to 70 degrees colder since in Lapland temperatures are now even below -40! I'm looking forward to joining your forum and ofcourse waiting for any info on the new sportline Superb, thanks! Janne (Hawtin)
