Possible problem is it has been turned down on the volume control dial. The radio is controlled when played and the Nav voice is muted, if you use the sat nav, the volume is controlled when the voice is being spoken, can be tricky to catch the time to increase the volume for the voice.

Hi, its a common problem.......search for DSG thermostat problems.....not high cost and can be done by a DIY mechanic.

I had to have my DPF cleaned due to having a blown turbo send gunk into the DPF. The garage that replaced the turbo removed the DPF and it was given a chemical clean. This was 2 years ago and the DPF has not caused any issues thus far. Pete
