  1. I'm from just outside Glasgow in Dumbarton but would happily take a drive about for any meets or similar
  2. I ride a hard tail but it's just a 2011 GT Avalanche 1.0. It's pretty low spec compared to most bikes i see at outdoor centres, but it's not broke yet Can you get the bike onto your rack and secured on your own, or is it a 2 person job? I can see with your huge dog you won't have as much room in the back as me lol! Black grills look quite good as well. Seen a few gloss ones before, but the satin seems to look a lot better.
  3. Nice Fabias. I do a bit of biking as well but i reckon i'll just pop my bike in the boot with the seats down. I've always worried i might drop my bike lifting it onto the roof.
  4. They;re ok to remove for the MOT just now as it's a visual inspection only so as long as a box that looks like a DPF is present, it's a pass even if it's empty. Does it feel any laggier with the bigger turbo?
  5. Nice car! Would it not have been possible to remove the DPF and still got a nice smokeless map put on it? I know the DPF helps reduce smoke but they strangle the engine a bit.
  6. One of the first things i do with most of the cars i've had is change the old yellow aged looking bulbs for LEDs so a bit more modern and cleaner looking. Cree LEDs seem to be the brightest so far i've found but can't fit them everywhere yet. Before After Number plate got the same treatment. Much brighter and whiter
  7. Up until recently i've owned the cousin of the vRS in the form of an Ibiza FR TDi. Good car, but had some issues and a forum member from here had his vRS for sale at the right price so picked it up as a fun daily driver. 8. Just done the interior light. It's 41/42mm as i had to bend my prongs inward for the 39mm one i bought. The original glove box bulb is 18mm but heard someone say the 31mm slots right in
  9. Hi all, I done a search on the forums as seen this had been asked before, but all i could find were really old threads and all the ebay links had expired. I've taken out the standard festoon from the glove box and it's 18mm. I can't find any LEDs this size, but some people have told me a 31mm fits in. Does anyone know for sure? As 18mm to 31mm seems quite a jump.
