  1. I agree hmcn, Mine did the same, worked for a month or so. Like a buffer is filled up and then it becomes very slow and at the end stops working. The wheel I purchased did have some other keys, so I reused my own keys like Lane Assist - no problem with that.
  2. Hi hmcn, Changing the optocoupler didn't do the trick - sorry! It only worked for a month or so! I found a steering wheel with defective leather and replaced the two pcb's - it has been working like a charm for almost 3 month. Something else is wrong with one of the pcb's (another component), I just hadn't had the time to investigate. So my advise is to find a steering wheel or new pcb's and replace it. I hope you find a good and not too expensive solution.
  3. Just an update, if someone is still following this tread 🙂 I have now replaced the right optocoupler, the operation seems to have worked. I can now scroll without any delays or periodic function. At the end it more and less stopped working, so I managed to find the optocoupler at something called RS Components 👍 It needs soldering, so make sure to have a good soldering iron. I will update you all, if it stops working again!
  4. Hi again 5k0d4, I actually found a used steering wheel at a car wrecker; I replaced the PCB´s and it worked perfectly. Then I found the cleaning instructions of the sensor, and that worked as well. So, I returned the Steering wheel and my old PCB worked almost ½ year. If you do a search on: 5E0 919 719 F WHS - either on Google, Ebay or similar, you will find a replacement kit. Currently my scroll button works sometimes. Good hunting.
  5. FYI: I managed to find the fault! It was the optocoupler which needed some cleaning
  6. Hi Milentije, Did you managed to find the reason for the faulty scroll wheel on the right side for the Maxo Dot? As I now have the same fault! Now the car is not new anymore, so pretty sure Skoda will not accept it as a warranty case. But prefer to find an easy fix, so probably have to order a complete set of Steering wheel buttons: 5E0 919 719 A
  7. Excelent, that makes absolute good sense. That is why I wasn't able to communicate with the controller - as I dont have the controller I am very grateful for the help
  8. Hi Jbastos, I think the Lowline coding did the trick . The camera picture came on, as soon as I put the car in reverse. Thank you all for the good advice.
  9. Okay, I get it now. But because I get the error message when entering 6C, I am not able to read out this code Any ideas?
  10. Yes, same instruction. But not sure what this means: "6C (Manual tr.) > long coding: 0484020102002017000040" (I have manual gear) Otherwise all has been followed and confirmed.
  11. Yes, that the one. I just ordered it from: http://www.vwmodul.de/Lowline_Camera__Accessories/Camera/5TA827566B-MutatAlap.html
  12. Hi guys, I hope someone can help me! I have just installed the original rear camera 5TA827566B (with washer). It had 3 wires, one short black wire for V-, one long red wire for V+ and one yellow midle length for activating the camera (connected to the reverse light). Video cable connected to the radio unit (Pin 6 & 12). Then I have done the coding as per instruction: But I do not get any video signal up in the radio! When I go in and activate the "Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2_VPS_oxoB", my sensors also disappear from the radio. I have attached 2 pictures - "No response from Controller" failure code from VCDS. I think it has to do with the Gateway connection (Pin 12 CAN LOW & pin 6 CAN High), but not 100% sure. I hope someone here in the forum have an idea. Thanks in advance :-)
  13. Thank you very much PekoSI, And Yes, I saw it on the Fabia.
  14. Hi all, I need some help with programming the LED light to dim, when the turn light is on -like Audi have and the new Rapid. So if there is someone who has a VCDS guide on how to program the LED light to dim (with Zenon) when the turn light is on, I will be very pleased. Have tried the DRLs flash alternately with indicating, but this looks like as there is a problem with the light Have search for it on here, but no results - found this on Youtube though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkFoM9zCneo Thanks in advance /Kaare
