  1. I think you can find the list of people with VCDS (somewhere in the forum) and most likely they would be happy to help (you could offer them some drinks/beers instead!).
  2. I fitted the following sensor to my 2013 1.4 tsi and everything works: Audi A1 A3 A4 A5 B8 A7 A8 D4 Rain Light and Humidity Sensor 8U0955559B And this is the Address 09 and sensor coding: Address 09: Cent. 3. Hi all, I need to replace the shock absorbers, strut mountings and bearings on my Octavia 2013. I bought genuine shock absorbers, mounting and bearing from a reliable online store (100% feedback on 44K purchases on eBay). The parts seem to be fine, but only one of the bearings seems to have grease leaking out of the gasket as seen in the photos. The other one does not have this and it is completely dry. Just wondering if this is normal or if it shows the bearing gasket has failed. Any feedback/comment/advice is appreciated. Thanks.
  4. In my car when turning the dial it automatically switches to auto for some of the fan speeds, I think it is on the second and the forth speed.
  5. Isn't it switching to auto? Does the auto light come on when those go off?
  6. Thanks you both for the update. In the case that Joe does not need the screen anymore, if Mark could kindly find it in the next few weeks maybe we can arrange that I can get it if possible? Thanks.
  7. Hi @JoeOctavia, any luck with getting display from @MarkyG82?
  8. Just to be clear, I don't complain about the low RPM, just wondering what could be the reason for random 1200-1300 RPM with semi-warm engine. I have scanned the car with VCDS, there is no error.
  9. Thanks for your reply @toot, it is a manual. What I really meant from 600 was the minimum it can go down, maybe it is 750 rpm.
  10. Thanks for your reply @varooom, I also thought it could be related to the battery before I change the battery to a new (AGM) battery a month ago. With the new batter everything works as expected (like start-stop etc). But, I still randomly experience the high rev issue. I coded the battery properly.
  11. Not directly similar to this issue, mine (1.4TSI 2013 67K) has a different (strange) start RPM behaviour. Starting from semi-warm engine (after an hour or two hours of using the car) randomly, RPM goes to 1200-1300 at start and then drops to 600 within 30 seconds. But, it never goes that high when start from stone-cold. Not sure what the reason could be.
  12. All those trouble for the sake of an idiot who set that as 7ah, I hate those people that they don't do a proper job.
