  1. Hi guys, have searched but kept coming back 0 items found and a google search hasn't helped. looking to upgrade to vrs front calipers etc and I know I need the full setup from a vrs or Ibiza cupra, have found a full lot for sale but I need to know if the driveshafts will fit into the splines in the hub or if I'm going to need driveshafts? Cant seem to find anything on the 86 spec for a swap. Thanks
  2. Much better, there's other makes out there like jbl by Harmon that are good, these however fit right in and if you need space run a compact sub I use the kenwood underseat one and it's perfect for what I wanted the speakers and sub are still under £200
  3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262351114155 hope this link works but they are focals designed to plug and play. If it doesn't search focal Vw on eBay and the first one should come up from car audio security
  4. Pressure switch is a likely source but I would have it confirmed before buying any more parts
  5. About a year now, not had any issues with it. It was S.O.S Motorsport that done it was £300 at the time as they had an offer on or £250 for a generic and printout... no brained to get custom. and if I can find the print out I'll post a picture. And it's barely noisy with no silencers. It would appear that jbs auto design have 150 plus with a decat and they have hybrid turbos In development and they make up to 200.
  6. My remap made 136.9 Bhp and I had the 86 best thing I've done along with the rear anti roll bar.. it's smoother and it pulls past to 6k now as above I don't have esp or traction either. I can get 50mpg on my way to work and 40 just on the way home mine was done on rolling road. Also have a cat back with no silencers
  7. Posting for a friend who has had 3 bikes stolen, please share the pic over Facebook or twitter or anything you can.
  8. Monte wheels refurbed gloss black just refitted and the other pic was the gunmetal they wer if that helps?
  9. I might be wrong but I don't think the vrs diffuser will fit as it won't match up to the arch extensions? However the recess is there behind the monte diffuser so it can be removed and with a very steady hand could be cut out to give the same look. I had my exhaust down turned as I wanted to keep the clean lines. Mapping has made a huge difference though!
  10. Do you know of anywer nearby that has a mot ramp with the single man ramp? It has a plate that lets them shake the car with the full weight on it, they may be able to help you.
  11. Well if it's that it doesn't fix the rattle, it fixed an issue with the light coming on and limp mode, the rattle I have is the same as the 2.0tsi and wer the rod is attaches to the wastegate rod the linkage rattles, the slightest amount of pressure on it stops it, the clip sits around the c clip and applies pressure without restricting movement. As I say I've been around the block with friends who work at skoda and with Vw within the group. Ive had my chain replaced even though they said it was a late engine and would be something else rattling.
  12. So where is this tpi? U think I haven't checked what you have just bumped? Is this the shim?
  13. nope Nissan. I would be intrested to see this as I went full circle with skoda customer care and they told me it didn't cover my car, the guys at Vw told me the same and pretty much every polo 1.2tsi in the compound/sales pitch does it. Also is the Shim not something to do with limp mode and goes between the wastegate and wer it mounts along with a reprogram of the ecu.
  14. They defo make a difference and they won't split/pop out if you have the later style arms... mine is a 2013 monte
