Thanks for letting me know. I heard a story last week where's a guys boot was broken into to get the lock nuts to get the wheels off. He only had the car 3 days!

Hi all, can anyone confirm if their Vrs comes with lock nuts? Have tried to research this but have not been too successful, yet dealer wasn't able to confirm either. Paranoid about my 19" xtremes!

Skoda seem to have gotten their act together. I got a call from the dealer yesterday to say the car had already arrived in Dublin (once again ahead of schedule). They should have it next week and I should have it mid to late next week.

The dealer called and updated me that the car is due in Dublin on Monday the 14th, so I could possibly have it by the end of next week or early the following week. So that would be 3 & 1/2 weeks earlier than the original date given. I will update once I have the car. I think it helps others on the forum who are also waiting on their orders. I can't wait at this stage, my wife is getting sick of it!

Hi Stu, I ordered mine on the same day. Do you know which build week yours was? Good times alright, when are you picking yours up?

There is a vehicle transporter on the way from Emden to Dublin, due in tomorrow morning, also actually called the "Emden". Do any of you know if VAG group use this ship??

Really hope mine is waiting for a boat now...or even on one! Ordered a Quartz Grey VRs Tdi Combi, xtreme alloys, sunset glass, panoramic roof, chrome pack, leather seats, kessy. I got a bit carried away with the extras....turns out I actually have to pay for them :-)

Thanks Blackbart, any more update on yours? What have you ordered? I'm doing my best not to hound the dealer every day! Will try again on Monday. Is anybody else waiting for delivery of a BW8? Would be curious as to when they get it.

I was told mine was off the production line, so I don't know if it's sitting on the docks waiting to be shipped? Or does something else need to happen prior to this??

I ordered my VRS Jan 18th, was told 10-12 weeks wait time. Initial delivery date I got was April 6th (to Dublin port). This has since been updated to March 31st, which fits in with what the dealer initially said. The wait is killing me! My first Vrs.
