I’m hoping as we go into Spring and eventually Summer my MPG figures will only increase

I manage to solve it, apparently the guy on the phone from VWFS said it could be because my Hire Agreement was still fairly “new” (even though it had been over a month since I signed the documents…) that it hasn’t registered in the system yet, strangely enough the very next day I tried and bam it let me login. Best to give VWFS a call just to give them a nudge up the ass to get your agreement up and running on their systems.

I have a 2WD but I’m certain the tyres Skoda put on mine are 225/50 R18’s… so what I’m saying is will they fit ok with the full-size spare wheel kit?

So I’m assuming a 225/50 R18 will fit just fine using the full-size spare kit?

Ahh I see so it’s the one with A at the end of the product code. Regarding the tyre widths I’m almost certain Skoda put 225’s on my 18” Bragas just before I picked it up, do you think this will cause an issue with the new boot floor height? So many variables I want to try and get over before I pull the trigger on a shiny new 5th alloy and wheel well kit.

Sorry to revive a slightly old thread but is the correct part number for the kit to fit a full-size 18” spare definitely 57A093860? Because after a quick search I found this page which I’m pretty sure I’ve ordered from before but the photos on there don’t seem to match up to those taken by people who have actually fitted the full-size spare kit? Do they have the wrong photos or am I missing something here?

Sorry to necro this thread but I’m having the same issue and your thread is literally only 1 of very few results after searching the error code. Did you manage to get it sorted in the end? I had some back and forth from VWFS (the usual scripted rubbish) but eventually I told them nothing was working and they replied that I had to call them…. what is the actual point of online communication if you have to eventually ring them to get anywhere.

I’ve got the 1.6 SEL and the fuel economy is very good for the size. I don’t tend to monitor the MPG as much while I’m driving around town but I would imagine it’s somewhere in the region of 40-45mpg depending on location. The motorway MPG however is great, this morning I drove from Woodchurch, Ashford to Cobham, Gravesham which is roughly 40 miles (~30 of them being the M20 and M2) and when I parked up I had achieved 61.7mpg. Then on the way home I stopped to fill up a bit and chucked £60 in with about 70 miles remaining and it took me to over 520 miles remaining, god I love this car!
