  1. @SashaGrace got CP taken off by her dealer, unit was got from a breaker, and the inflated price for the newer units on ebay include cp removal and coded for the car its going into, also units are checked at the dealers to ensure they are not blacklisted (stolen).
  2. or ask @pab567 , he might be able to help! he sorted the upgrade unit for me.
  3. Also CP protection can be removed by you're dealer, they can also code for you too.
  4. selling my MIB 1 on Ebay Sat nav unit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332661433590?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 if your intrested

  6. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8344202?replyId=33241674#33241674
  7. didn't read the whole thread, i've the same problem
  8. What phone issue Sasha? i have reception issues, i can hear them clearly but they cant hear me or its very poor
  9. I'd second that, breakers wouldn't have a scooby!!!
  10. Shame you cant use VCDS to code the light to come on when a regen is active and off when it's finished. Skoda would have been 'simply clever' to have enabled an option on the car to highlight regen in progress.
  11. DIY Job, the other black emblems you can find on superskoda, sadly the said there no demand for the front grill badge to do the same.
  12. This is what i want but gonna leave the grey in the V and a red stripe in the R, good job though, what and how did you use?
  13. @Pittsy did you ever get round to doing this?
  14. I have an Amundsen mib 1 unit wit sat nav, dab would prob need to install gps etc , if you’re interested pm me
  15. All done now , hard enough to get under to get at the clip but sorted now, wiring was fairly tight so was hard to get at the clip, cheers
  16. how in hell did you remove the aux connection, its a pain in the hole to remove, is there a clip or should it just pull off?
  17. I actually have a 6.5 screen for mib 2 that i brought of of sasha if you're interested, as for a unit, speak to @pab567 i got my unit off of him and have vcds at the ready. Looks like alot of breakers have copped on and have increased prices on units, but a unit off of a post 16 skoda except the yeti's should be ok.
  18. Amazing how everything happens at the same time So fitted the rest of the black emblems today , very happy with the result, Then halfway through fitting the letters my MIB2 from @pab567 arrived , so once I finished the emblems I went straight into fitting my new screen and MIB2 unit. What can I say , @pab567 done a cracking job supplying the unit and coding. if you’re considering a retro fit give him a shout , you won’t regret it. Also thanks @SashaGrace cause Of her thread and mods it inspired me to do the same(was jealous ) so that’s me done for a while will prob plastidip the grill vRS emblem in a couple of weeks and maybe spacers next but nothing major.
  19. Emblems came will fit the black lettering tomorrow, suits the car so so much better than the chrome!
  20. Cleaned and polished, now to put on new emblems and plastidip the front vRS emblem and I’ll be done!
  21. I’m getting close to 56mpg in my diesel and I’m still able to over take when needed, within the limits of course
  22. Intrested to see the difference is all esp town vs motorway petrol and the same for diesel too
  23. Just curious what range (when you have a full tank) on diesel vs petrol. Mine is normally around 800km. (DIESEL)
