Car now returned with the offending part replaced under warranty. The service guy commented they'd dealt with a few IV's and VW GTE's with the same issue, and a technical service bulletin is in place.

Had exactly the same issue on my Superb IV this weekend. Called Skoda assist this morning who sent out one of their own VAG techs. Too bloke, ex Skoda master tech so knew his onions..Said it was a well known issue with a technical service bulletin. He removed the security seal and the header tank filled back up. Followed me to my local dealer where it now awaits a new part for the air con system which is over pressurizing.

Can anyone make any suggestions on the best place to purchase the black magic sportline pieces I need to help dechrome my white 2021 Superb Se L. The cars booked in to have the window surrounds wrapped in gloss black but I'd rather replace the pieces I can rather than wrapping. I'm looking for: Front grille surround Mirror caps Rear Skoda / Superb badges Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your response, They'd look great on my IV but a bit more than I'd want to.pay even with just a bit of superficial damage. Good luck with the sale but I'd be happy to make an offer if you don't get what your hoping to achieve.
