I'm assuming it'll come with a least a years warranty? If so, and it's in writing that infotainment gremlins are covered, I wouldn't have an issue buying it. But I'm recently back in the Skoda fold, so may not know what I'm talking about

It seems your missing the settings page for some reason. Mine is set to the classic look as well.

Here's how I did it; Engine running. Click right scroll button so right dial has green circle. Use right scroll button to highlight "settings". Press button with right arrow/pages to enter selection menu. Scroll up or down with right wheel to select/deselect items to display. Once selected, press car icon button twice and display times out to normal.

Just picked my Octavia a few days ago and I managed to select what to display. I'll go back out and recall the steps I took and post them shortly.
