Wondering if you have had any luck fixing this problem, fuel gauge in my 1.8 Superb has started to have same issue.

In the 10 years we've had the Superb it has always come on with Radio until just recently seems pretty well always comes on with Bluetooth connected on the Media screen. Any tricks to get Radio back as standard at start up?

Just realised that actual issue seems to be that when bluetooth connection to a phone is established that is when the screen switches from Radio to Media. I don't normally drive the car, her indoors has been complaining of the issue last few days and I just noticed that this is the actual problem.

Have had the car for 10 years and unit has always started in an AM radio pre selected screen. Car was recently driven by someone else and since then at sart up is in Media select mode screen How do i get it back the AM radio presets scteen have always had until now?

Did you get this resolved without going down the flap / air direction motor road? I was fortunate to get ours going again today with just the motor removal and squirt of WD40. We'll see how long that lasts. Ours is April 2012 build.

Had similar issue on our 2013 model about six mths ago. Had to have screen removed and refitted. Suggestion from windscreen specialist to effect that "we do a VW group vehicle every day of the week, they must use a dodgy adhesive, samw with Range Rovers he said" pointing to 3 x RR behind him in his workshop".
