  1. Check the glow plug fuse on top on the battery, they break. Check the timing if you have access to VCDS program. Engine won't run if the timing isn't spot on. Found that out when i did my cambelt.
  2. Replaced drivers side motor unit, window worked for about 1 minute then stopped. Im pretty sure water getting into to drivers side door sill. Both rubber door seals on the drivers side are wet. I think water is getting into the channel where the wires really run inside the sill.
  3. Battery is new. Ill check fuse 11 tomorrow morning
  4. Both front left and front electric windows stopped working the other day. Both fuses are good. Theres 9v at the fuses with acc on. Driver's side and passenger side switches do nothing, no relay clicking sound. Voltage at the fuse does not change when a switch is pressed. Is there another control module to test?. Seems a odd both window motors would go at the same time. Any advice is appreciated.
  5. Charged the battery for 10 hours, "battery full" light never turned on, on the charger. Voltage is not much better. Looks like new battery is on the parts list.
  6. Voltage goes down to 13.8v with A/C on, blower fan on 2. Goes to 12.9v with A/C on, blower on 2, steering wheel turned 30 degrees, car stationary.
  7. Yeh ill give it a charge. Ill check voltage with A/C and blower fan on also.
  8. Yeh i do have one. The battery is few years old. Is the P/S pump sensitive to battery voltage?.
  9. Battery voltage is Cold 12.3v Ingnition 12.1v Engine running 14.3v
  10. Ill do that after work and report the voltage.
  11. Yeh comes on then goes out when engine is started. I haven't checked battery voltage yet.
  12. Steering gets heavy when the A/C is switched on?. Anyone know why this could be?. The rack is new. Fluid is full. No lights on dash. Steering feel is consistent lock to lock. A/C is fully charged. Accessory belt is new. Any ideas on when to look at would be appreciated.
