  1. Hi mate, ah balls, we cleared the house out recently and I debated whether to keep it and it ended up getting dumped, sorry about that.
  2. Google Dogbone mount poly insert and you can do it with the mount in place, it just fills the gaps in the bush with poly.
  3. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say it's probably one of the inner CV's tbh, depending on how annoying it is a full driveshaft with inner and outer CV's fitted is 55-100 from J&R Driveshafts depending on type refurb with 2 yr warranty
  4. A wobble on throttle which goes on lift off is usually driveshaft or CV related, could be a bent driveshaft or possibly a balancer ring as I know some DS have balancers
  5. Let us know how you get on as there maybe others looking for them also.
  6. I had a look and there is no official Skoda part number but I found some info, the wheel are Team Dynamics Monza R Alloys and the cap no is LC83P-SKO which may narrow the search as there seem to be a number of them on the net.
  7. Just one of them unfortunately, I'm not sure that number above is the correct cap as it brings up caps with indents in, let me check my part number
  8. I have a brand new one lying around somewhere you can have for postage, came with my LE but I swapped the wheels over and never used it
  9. Are you sure there is not an input in the jumbo box under the armrest?
  10. Not sure how far are you from Mold but this one ticks the boxes, bulletproof PD engine https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202501298543708?sort=relevance&searchId=101e58b9-cc5f-4be1-b6ed-b931305dfd8d&advertising-location=at_cars&make=SKODA&postcode=SY232LR&price-from=500&radius=70&fromsra
  11. It checks out clean apart from an anomaly on the MOT mileage which is clearly an error by the MOT tester, no accidents recorded but it has had 9 owners, for such a low mileage that is a large amount!
  12. While technically it would work as a BKD can be mapped to 170 safely it won't work as the checksum will be wrong along with a whole load of other issues with immo and accessories, better to get the OE ECU remapped.
  13. Could be doing a regen maybe? Does it have a DPF?
  14. BXE, Big Xploding Engine, no, don't, likely drop a rod through the block!
  15. Those wheels you posted above are 19" wheels 19x8 not 18x8, while Carlston is correct re offset, ET40-50 range in Skoda is within limits of stock fitment, the reason I said was maybe look at ET40 as well is that you are going from a 7" wheel to an 8" width and if ET stays the same then the wheel will sit in further due to the extra width, well 1/2" out and 1/2" in from centre and there is more room on the outside by the arch than there is on the inside by the shock and spring. For instance a 7" wheel range ET for Skoda stock fitting is ET52-56, a 7.5" wheel range is ET49-53 so therefore an 8" wheel would be approx range of ET46-50 so ET45 would be ok and ET40 would only be 5mm more poke which is nothing really, just gives you more options on wheels.
  16. As long as the PCD is 5x112 and centre bore is 57.1 then any wheels, you could also lower the ET from 51 to say 40 and the wheels will fill the arches a bit better, so look for 5x112, 57.1, ET40-51, example here that would fit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/135213302423 they are SEAT wheels but correct specs and the badges can be swapped for Skoda ones
  17. Yes, but if you are in the UK you would be better off buying them in the UK as you will have to pay VAT at 20% plus import charges.
  18. 5x112 is the stud pattern, ignore the 'grap' it's irrelevant but it does not state centre bore, i assume its 57.1 but never assume get it confirmed, could be 67 and need adaptors, they will fit, offset correct all being well.
  19. Probably dog bone mount
  20. CEGA is available but rare on NFL, but if you are now talking about EGR and DPF deletes then that changes the question, the PD lump BMN in my opinion would be the better one with a DPF and EGR delete as I prefer the way it delivers the power, feels more torquey, neither the CEGA or BMN should smoke with a DPF and EGR delete with a proper map, I've mapped many PD's and if you do it right they do not smoke, in fact in some cases emissions drop. The reason BMN may be classed as crap is because they were strangled by the DPF which a PD was never designed to have in the first place.
  21. No I had CEGA which is a common rail with DPF, better than the PD BMN with DPF as the PD was never designed to have a DPF, the CR was, I had no issues with the CEGA in 2 years I owned it.
  22. They are the only 2 VRS 170 diesel engines yes, most pre FL are BMN but you can get an LE which is Pre FL outside but post FL inside with the CEGA engine like this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186600442411 I had one wish I hadn't sold it.
  23. BMN 170 PD TDI DPF but if you can find a CEGA 170 CR TDI DPF would be better.
  24. Thanks for the mention, it is handy, used it a lot, been a god send checking out potential cars and option list by VIN, I'm surprised it still works with GDPR as every other free reg checker doesn't give the VIN any more, can't remember how I came across it but sure it was from a BMW forum when I was trying to find options on a 330D, so all credit goes to the person that found it.
