  1. Front electric (3 memory positions on the drivers seat) and rear half leather / alcantara from a 2001 Seat Toledo in good condition but needing a light clean / valet. Will need a little head scratching to wire them up especially the memory function on the drivers seat £120 collected from near Crewe. Pics uploaded to photobucket but the forum won't allow me to paste them here.......................
  2. Still here, still the cheapest L&K in the UK today, now SORN with the tax chashed in. Want £1000 for a good reliable estate car that I'd drive to the south of France tomorrow if need be.
  3. Last bump before I start breaking it, the car will be reinsured from the forthcoming weekend as the other halfs car blew its turbo (and damaged the engine in the process) yesterday and she needs transport but wants a smaller car........................ so may part ex + cash for a smaller car - but she has to like it............. :sun:
  4. One of the ball joints on the link rod under the NSF arch was detached on my car, a new rod cost £38 from skoda - its a heath robinson affair attached to the wishbone. HTH
  5. Now £1100 (there's £100 worth of tax on the screen), thats as low as I'm going, will start to break this car after 25th March - I'll be keeping the engine and ancils

I bought this for my winter car having sorned our audi convertible for the winter months and its not missed a beat, pulls hard when asked to. I replaced the ARB clamp bushes and the front wishbone rear bushes with genuine Skoda items, the wiper rack has been stripped and lubed and now work as they should, we then did 1200 miles last september around Cornwall and Devon without a hitch. The towbar was fitted by me and remains unused (I may remove it) MOTd til 18 Feb 2013, Taxed til Sept 2012 History I changed the oil and filter when I bought it, the receipts for this and a light levelling rod are with me, the receipt for the previously mentioned bushes is currently missing.......... Two keys. one needs a battery. £1400 - ONO Thanks
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230758439143?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I've tried to copy and paste the ad and photobucket pics but it just wont let me - reported as a site problen several days ago.
  8. It sounds like the pedal has broken where it attaches to the master cylinder under the dash - its a common VAG fault
  9. Unused spare from my 2001 L&K Octavia estate - £99 ono Ebay link There's a tiny blue paint mark / chip on the alloy where someone caught the wheel removing it from the wheel well
  10. Brake light switch has 2 circuits, 4 wires, one switch for brakes lights, the second switch for ecu signal. Faulty switch = no ASR or cruise function (hitting the brake pedal knocks off cruise).
  11. For the sake of £10 I'd put a genuine brake light switch on it - dealers have them on the shelf
  12. You could try disconnecting the battery for an hour or so, its been known to work on other VAG cars to good effect. Have you had a flat battery recently?
  13. It takes a mile or two to feel the benefit of the heated seats, by that time the heater is warming and your body is warming the seats for free. Chocolate teapot like the centre armrest IMO Now a heated windscreen, that would be a benefit at the moment.
  14. I have a changer in a toledo I'm breaking (the changer lives in the glovebox), I could include the cable if you want to repair your existing cable?
  15. I'd want to measure current draw at the same time as the voltage drops to see if any consumer is drawing excess currrent at the same time as the voltage drops. Does it do it with the heater blower / aircon turned off on cold start ups? Does the auto tensioner run smoothly? Does it kick / jump when the voltage drops? Does the aircon pulley engage when the voltage drops? Is the main battery to body earth strap in good condition? Connect a good quality jump lead from the engine block to the battery neg and see if this helps.
  16. Maybe the cars rear axle was damaged early in its life (spun into a kerb?) and the whole rear assembly was swapped from a lesser model? If the car has the original alloys are they all dated the same on the back? If you order brake parts via chasis number do they supply solids or vented?
  17. Rather than pulling the fuse unplug the changer itself may give a better result and no risk of radio code issues
  18. You could try pulling the fuse and see what happens when you power up again?
