Thanks Rick. That was very helpful! I think the part number is just for the handle, and not the whole panel. It is number 9 on this picture In addition, a special version of number 5 is needed. And to answer some of my own questions from my first post: 2: 3V9 092 160 A is the kit that is needed. It includes the towbar and the wiring to the luggage compartment. 3V9 803 881 A is the bar itself, which is a part of the kit. 3: 3V0 055 204 is the electric kit that runs from the front of the car to the control unit in the luggage compartment. The other part I mentioned (3V0 971 541) are the cables that runs from the towbar to the luggage compartment. This is also included in the towbar kit 3V9 092 160 A. So if you do not have the towbar preperation, you will need 3V9 092 160 A and 3V0 055 204. In addition to this the trim panel (part number ???) with the handle (handle = 3V9 803 847). And then a control unit ( part number ???) Correct me if i'm wrong or if anyone has any additional information about the "missing" parts

This is not the first time I hear about problem with the ACC after fitting the towbar. I think my plan is to find the parts I need on ebay. I can get them for about half price there. Then I will fit the bar and run the wires to the front of the car and have my friend do the last part.

I have a few question regarding the original tow bar for the new Superb I hope you can help with. I want to fit it so I am searching for the different parts around the net. 1. What is the part number of the part with the handle and led indicator that will replace the original trim in the car? 2. I found these two towbars, but I can't find the difference - do they both work for my car? 3V9 803 881 A 3V9 092 160 A 3. Which electric set do I need? I have found these two: 3V0 055 204 3V0 971 541 My car is a 2015/11 Superb Combi 3 L&K 190 DSG. VIN TMBJJ9NP0G7020391. It is not prepared for tow bar. Can anyone help with these questions? Thanks!
