  1. Thanks all. I erred on the side of caution and managed to get hold of two reasonable good condition Thermisto wheels at a sensible price.
  2. I need to get a new set of wheels for my 2011 Superb Elegance (came off second best to a large pot hole!). Current wheels are the standard 7.5Jx18 ET46. I have seen some secondhand wheels from an Octavia VRS which are 7.5Jx18 but ET is 51 - will they fit given they have a slight difference in the offset? Guidance greatly appreciated, alternative please let me know if you have any good condition wheel that would fit.
  3. Yes, I clicked next without checking the spelling, but after several attempts at a user name that had not already been taken was beginning to lose the will to live????
  4. Hi I am new to Briskoda. I have a 2011 Superb Elegance estate (11 plate) which I have had for 18-months, trouble free, save the fuel filler cap issue which I understand is a common problem. Its been a fantastic car, but yesterday, whilst driving, I lost connectively to my phones (Blackberry and Iphone) and I have been unable to re-establish the connection (Columbus unit with SatNav etc). The phone does not seem to want to initiate when the phone menu from the dashboard is entered. Eventually, I then get a message that there are no phones connected. When I search for phones, it either does not identify any (dhe phones have Bluetooth turned on) or it recognises the Iphone and I can connect but only for media not phone. I have tried deleting the pairing on both phone, but this has been to no avail and have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Bluetooth module under the drivers seat. I need hands free for work and my local Skoda dealership wants £99 (plus VAT!) just to take a look, any parts or labour are extra so not sure what I get for the money and do not want to run up a large bill unnecessarily. Any guidance very much aprpeciated SliverSuperb (yes I pressed enter before checking the spelling!)
