Front assist Sensor and Bracket. Superb3
Bracket is made of cheap frangible sugar! I would consider if they were made from brandy snap at least you would having something nice to eat when they disintegrate. Top RH corner failed behind adjuster but just look at the corrosion, outrageous really that they can be so poorly designed and manufactured 😱 £53 for new bracket and quoted over £300 for calibration. I'll be trying, no power whilst disconnected and M1 Southbound>50 mph. I'll let you know. https://www.theskodashop.co.uk/products/skoda-holder-for-the-front-radar-3q0998561#gallery

Alloy Wheels with Winter Tyres
I have since but new tyres on ~£600 and I don't think you'd want to be covering the cost of those.
-
Sump plug stripped
But that requires skill, knowledge and competence, not just being a box changer. I wonder even if stud extraction, cleaning out blind holes and using inserts is taught to mechanics now.

Tyres problem
Not that it helps but I am amazed that anybody would keep P7s on for that long. I found them to have the feel, grip and feedback one might associate with having solid rubber. Was extremely happy to ditch them fairly early on. Are they on the correct size wheel?

Goodbye Superb, hello Kodiaq
I trust you have verified the towing capability. I understand that there were some issues with Kodiaks being rated at Zero KG but that might be historic situation but I would want to be certain.

Snow Chains for 18-inch Wheels
That appears to be quite a difference in speed ~5.4% I can confirm MYTRES are woeful, tyres seemed like a good price but despite getting an anticipated delivery date before my trip they were not delivered in time. I cancelled before travelling, sourcing an alternative tyre, and when I got back they had been left on my doorstep. They advised that they were delivered before I cancelled! Muppets! Never use them again.

Drive Modes - Reset on each new start?
Just taken this sorry it's not the best but yes I leave the settings as individual and if needed just use the stick to go into Sport mode or very occasionally rock it sideways to use manual I know I have 2 warnings one for service and one for Front Assist not Available so if anybody has any clues on the second that would be great. Drive Modes - Reset on each new start?
If you set up "Individual" this should retain the settings.

Snow Chains for 18-inch Wheels
If you are travelling that frequently I would invest in wheels and winter tyres. Also bear in mind that whilst you may need chains to get up the mountain there might be much snow in the valley and the route into the bottom of the resort. So if safety is really your priority then consider spare wheels and winter tyres. Once you have used them you will be amazed at how good they are see blow only a short distance from the main road but parked safely Habitually change summers for winters and have been for a few years now, since living in Munich, even when I don't go skiing. A 215/55/17 is a direct change for 235/45/18 and will enable chain fitment as well although I don't have chains.
