  1. @Scout280 Holy thread resurrection! I can’t recall if it was you that enquired about replacement spring/shockers? Does your car have the increased ride height of the Scout +15mm or was that also deleted when Skoda released it into the wild? Has yours also got DCC?
  2. Also, check out the Polish site allegro.pl which is their equivalent of ebay. I have thought of doing the same, change to Scout aesthetics, but questioned where these parts have come from.
  3. @nickysavage I had issues, having to press the button harder to start the car. I followed the cleaning routine and I have not had a problem since. It’s really quite simple to do if you take your time.
  4. Try LLL Parts, they have parts catalogues for Skoda Superb, you will find at the bottom of the page under manufacturers / Browse Catalogs (sic) you will need to check the part numbers for the lights because your's will be LHD, fog light on a different side to here in the UK. Ebay the obvious choice, though Polish Aleggro and Ebay Kleinanzeigen may be helpful?
  5. I know this isn't the detailing thread, but what did you use to achieve such a result? D/A polishers, polishes and ceramic coat used. You taking on commissions? 😀
  6. My car suffers the same problem, even though it's RHD. My wife, sitting in the nearside (left) seat complains about a cold left leg when travelling long distances. She is correct (on this occassion!) as others have complained about the same thing.
  7. Has anyone seen this storage previously as I am looking for something similar. This was a vehicle at BCA, not ex police, but NI registration. It could be a service technician as the grey plastic locator pieces are AUER-packing parts.
  8. Minimum I could use is 17 inch rims, as the car's a 280, fitted with 215/55/17 Goodyear Ultragrip, which saw us last year, past the Arctic Circle and up to Narvik without any issues whatsoever. I took chains as well, but never had the need to use them, did a trial fit in the UK and all was good. I did bottle it on a particular steep hill near Lillehammer, which was near the end of the trip so didn't want to tempt fate. Rims Audi A4 7J ET46 (8K0071497) Chains Weissenfels 9mm M30 Clack and Go
  9. @travo Mine is 3712, fitted to a 280 Superb.
  10. There is a company in Poland, Nagengast that will refurbish DCC shocks. They have a website showing their work. The cost last time I enquired was EUR 145 per shock,
  11. @MrPekka easy option: Linear-18 Elite with I-LBA, but expensive, or XBB Power unit, or via Canbus and CANM8 connect.
  12. I understand your frustration and airing it on this forum, but reject the car and let your blood pressure get back to normal. I am not trying to be funny when i say this and there may be other factors that don’t allow you to do this, but it’s exactly what i would be doing in your situation. I was looking to change to a Mk4, but think I will stick with my Mk3 for now. Vehicles are just becoming too complicated and any issues they experience has a bigger effect on the whole vehicle than the original, probably small problem.
  13. @zacko_O is this plug and play or is coding needed? Any pictures of how you fixed inside the tailgate?
  14. Sorry, you are correct, i misunderstood what the engine builder said.
