Anyone using the AAWireless 2 adapter (2024 version)?
I've been using a AAwireless 2 for about 2months, at first it was great, easy to setup and connected everytime without fail. However over the last week or so it just fails to connect, the blue ring flashes on the AAwireless device and the "smartlink" text just stays displayed on the screen. Just wondering what other people's phone (addriod version), year of vehicle and if maybe a software update on the car would help resolve the situation? I've got a Pixel 9 Pro, the Superb is a 2017 and from what I can tell it hasnt had any software upgrades.

Thanks all, Resolved the issue, pulled the belt all the way out and then fed the twist back through the opening behind the top of the seat.

Battery removal for charging NOT changing
Hi jim_d, I understand that the preferred way I to remove and charge a battery due to the possibility of gases/heat/fire etc. But as people have pointed out car monitors the batteries state. Also with the battery removed it would be impossible for me to lock the car. What I ended up doing was fitting a ctek charging fly lead to the positive point on the battery and the earthing point behind the battery as per the users manual. I then bought a ctek extension lead and fed this out of the front of the car under the garage door and connected it to my ctek charger. I've had it connected like this for weeks without any problems. I was able to fully close the bonnet and lock the car without trapping the cable. Just have to remember to disconnect it before driving off. 😂

Trolley jack and axle stand location
Yes I'd remove the plastic bungs at the front, they just pop back in.

Rear seat belts
Yeah langers2k, ive pulled the belt out all the way, like I say I first thought that the kids had just forced the buckle through the belt. But when I pulled the belt all the way and kept it flat it's clearly twisted.

Hi, This might seem a bit of a daft question but after cleaning the Superb and sitting in the back of my own car for the first time I noticed that the rear nearside seat belt looked twisted and assumed one of the kids have forced the buckle around the belt, but when I've looked in to it further I think the actual belt is twisted when its been bolted to the car behind the bottom of the rear bench? I'd of thought that both rear belt should lay flat with the buckle pointing the correct way, like the rear offside? Also looking on picture of other superbs on Autotrader it appears that both rear belts lay flat. I thought I'd ask here before making the trip to the dealers. Thanks for all your comments. Leaving the battery in situ sounds the way forward and hooking up to the 12v in the boot might be a neat solution as I normally reverse right up to the garage door. Cheers all.- Battery removal for charging NOT changing
It did cross my mind about being able to lock the car once the battery was removed. 😂👍🙈- Battery removal for charging NOT changing
Hi, I bought a 2017 model at the backend of last year and due to the current situation I'm not using the car that much and can go for weeks without driving it. I was just wondering if there was any potential pitfall of removing the battery and leaving it connected to a Ctek MXS 5.0 charger in the hope it preserves the battery whilst the car isn't being used. I understand that if you replace the battery with a new one then you should get it recorded, but if all I'm doing it removing it to keep it charged then I'd hope there shouldn't be a problem in refitting it? - Rear seat belts
