  1. Just had a warning come up to check rear left tail lamp. Sure enough the tail light array on the wing mounted light cluster no longer works. Years ago it would be a simple case of a couple of £'s for a new bulb and all fixed! No longer the case it seems, surely there must be replacement elements for the failed LED part of the assembly? My searches so far/ seem to turn up nothing but complete light module (565.945.207.A) at around £200.00, surely that's not the case for a failed tail light! I've found a source (from China) for BMW replacement LED cards but nothing for a Kodiaq assembly, As I must be missing something, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in anticipation.
  2. On the front bumper, there are two 'diamond' shaped segments just inboard of the headlamps on either side (see photo), an anyone advise what they are? A cold frosty day up here, this morning while brushing the snow off, I noticed the nearside one was out from the bumper bay about 6-8mm. Later, after I'd been out for a short journey in the car and returned home, it had returned back and was again flush with the bumper. I'm intrigued as to why/what they are?
  3. Cheers, that's interesting, that never came up on any of my searches and the dealership up here didn't know of any such facility, Not sure looking at the picture but looks like it just raises it to the spare wheel level, I've brought mine up to be a level floor with the rear opening.
  4. As I'm not a fan of so called tyre repair kits, I was given a space saver wheel as a spare. As it is only a 5 seater, it does not have the raised floor area in the rear although the anchor point and recess for the spare is there under the tyre repair kit moulding. Searching around there does not seem to be any OEM means of creating such a facility so I made my own from plywood as outlined in the attached pdf. Just awaiting receipt of some vehicle lining carpet to complete the job. If anyone wishes, feel free to make use of it and amend/improve as you see fit. Skoda Kodiaq raised boot floor.pdf
