  1. Hello, thank you for your post. I did manage to find it under Maintenance part page 142, 143. Also, I did manage to do basic setting with OBD11, adjusted, and now I will test it in 2-3 night and report to you. Thank you for your help.
  2. So, this is what I managed to adjust tonight. Vertical is I think ok, horizontal is to be more widen, just to figure out how much what headlight not to bother oncoming traffic and to spread beam good for my visibility. If you have any more instructions I would be more than thankful.
  3. This is exactly what I need. I will film my tonight, before and after adjustment by your video. Thank you!! langers2k - I was at garage, and when they adjust lights it is not like it was before headlight change, so I will try to adjust it by myself with help from other people who has same car with same headlights and I think it will be fine. Just I need some starting point. Thank you for your response.
  4. Well, I don't think I need to recalibrate SLA, but just headlight horizontal position to achieve SLA to work properly. So, I need night pic. against wall of lights cutoff lines on low beam so I can adjust that at first. I will take a photo and video of my lights tonight and I am posting that here so you can see. Thank you JR RS.
  5. Hello, I have a specific problem with headlight aim so I need some of your help to adjust it. I had some repairs that included change of left headlight and after that repair dealer just don't have enough knowledge to readjust headlight to be in line horizontal and vertical so my SLA does not cut traffic like it should do and cut off lines on low beam does not provide good enough lighting on dark streets. I manage to readjust headlights with screws, with and without OBD11 (does not make any difference), but I need your help to take picture of your lights with SLA at night or give me any instructions on how to readjust to make it like it came out of factory both horizontal and vertical aim (for me that was the best setting). Thank you in advance.
  6. Hello, after a while of driving (~70.000km) I decided to buy OBD11 and try to "improve" some of things that I want. Here is the list, and if anyone want any help I'll try to help. 1. Lock car when engine is running 2. DRL settings in head unit 3. DRL with stripes (if you have SLA) 4. Scandinavian DRL (taillight on when DRL) 5. Presentation run AFS (if you have SLA, this is nice touch, Ill update this post with video) 6. Video in motion (with app in OBD11) 7. Fog lights as coming home lights 8. Disabled exhaust flaps (permanently open) 9. Activated Adaptive Lane Tracking (for some reason, it wasn't in my menu)
  7. This is what I got on my 2018, 280TSI. Normal mode, straight roads with mostly 80km/h speed limit, and without any thinking about Eco drive. I found out the consumption when I arrived and I was very happy to see that it can be very eco 😉
  8. Hello, I would like to share mine experience with SLA. I have full spec. Superb with also Smart Light Assist, which in my case works really good in twisty roads where oncoming car in not so long in "light tunnel". BUT, when I'm driving at straights with normal speeds (60-90km/h), SLA works OK, BUT in few seconds raises that tunnel light to about headlight of oncoming car or just little above it and I can clearly see it bothers oncoming driver, especially when its a little bumpy road. In my opinion, they should set up that dipped beam to be just below headlight of oncoming car, not above or on that height. Also happens when I'm behind someone who has high positioned tail light. If they could update only that, system would be working all the time without my interventions at all.
  9. @JackySi My "Slovenian family" is also in Batajnica Well, with this 280hp car, I don't really love to drive fast first because of fuel consumption and second, because I know i have a lot of power, I don't know how to explain that, with bigger HP I drive slower . I'm using it only on traffic light with some Alfa romeo racers Very important thing about choice I made is that DPF EGR and other **** I chose petrol this time. I had a lot of problems with broken hoses, clogged filters and black smoke (that old Superb was white so it was a bit black on bumper) and I was sick of that. I sold it with 460.000km, everything else was perfect so for next car I knew it would be Skoda again, but now diesel Today, 66km trip with speed around 80-90-100km/h only 6,5L/100km.
  10. @JackySi Yes, same problem here, when im outside Belgrade its ok, but in Belgrade there is a lot of bad drivers with bad attitudes and wants to race all the time with himself first, so just need to pass all that situations But you are in Slo, you have bigger salary than we in Ser, and with much nicer people in everyday traffic (my mother is from Maribor now living here, but I'm at least 4-5 times a year in SLO), you can't have problem with consumption there, just activate Lane assist and Adaptive cruise control, and thats it, like diesel @penguin17 What about warranty? You are doing chip tuning after? Also I must ask dealer can I upgrade exhaust without loosing warranty.
  11. @JackySi Yes, its a bit high, but I just wanted petrol first time in my life and choice was 280hp. I'm really happy with it, just, I need to finally say to myself - less fast driving and consumption is than ok. I would love to see even 2.0 BiTdi which is in Passat, 240hp is enough for everyday driving with some accelerations
  12. This is Adaptive Cruise Control behind bus, it was about 6-6,5 l/100km at around 90-110 km/h, real consumption for 4000km now is 9,5 l/100km. You can drive it between 50-110km/h and get somewhere about 7 l/100km which is real for this car. In town, for now consumption is around 12 l/100km. It is definitely a double consumption from my old 2009 Superb with 140hp engine, I will feel it because i'm driving about 60.000km a year.
  13. I would say if you have Vehicle menu on Bolero it should be on center screen if it is colored maxi dot. I didn't think about that, maybe its just an update on 2018 year models. Car is old only 20 days now.
  14. @radiognome Do you have center screen in color?
  15. I feel it at the same way, and also with heating I'm not so happy, maybe it is just the way it should be. But, I can feel cooling better when I push my back about 1cm from the seat, maybe you block all the air with body, I don't know.
