  1. Yep looks like Skoda took down that Web Site. The VW one I used to use had also been shut off. I have managed to be successful however to get a Pocketgpsworld speed camera database (GPX file) on my Sat Nav using another tool I found on the web. The attached doc has all the instructions (and gives thanks to previous posters here for their inputs that I used too) I will say it did cost be 4.95 Euros because the POI limit for a category is 5000 and the UK Camera database is ~7.5K but I think thats a fair price for something that could save you a lot more. Hope the guide helps README_Install.pdf
  2. Can you just ask the dealer for this update? Mine does this a few times a year and I have just lived with it but it can be a p ain in the a** if it doesnt reset on a dark night.
  3. I have a MY17 Superb Sportline 190 4x4. The screen washers stopped working last week - Front Screen, Rear Screen and Headlamp Washers all do not work. Fuse is OK VCDS Reports: 787212 - Windshield Washer Pump B1261 01 [009] - Electrical Failure Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 3 Fault Frequency: 9 Reset counter: 214 Mileage: 75205 km Date: 2020.01.18 Time: 10:30:43 Question: Is there just 1 washer pump that does all 3 of these actions? Am guessing if not them I may not have a faulty pump. Question: Anyone know the washer pump part number? (There seem to be many out there) Question: Can you access the washer pump by removing passenger wheel and the inner wing lining to change it? Thanks in advance for any advice - Skoda want £130 per hour to diagnose this and the car for 3 days which seems a bit crazy.
  4. A car indicating to turn off left but within your judgement as ok distance wise because it turning can cause this. Has happened on mine 4 times in 12k miles.
  5. Hi my sup RV has 13k miles on it and I have noticed recently that after a short run on 5 miles home that the fan is running when I thave rn the car off. Doesn’t seem normal to me so wanted to see what others have to say?
  6. Thanks Keith for the pointer to RossTech, Seems the soot mass may well be within limits. But you also pointed out the plain obvious (now that you mention it) that I didn't have the engine running. Will retry the test next week when back in work to see if the same error is reported on a running engine. The sensor is cheap compared to a new DPF so in many ways I hope its that.
  7. I am trying to help a colleague at work by using my VCDS I bought for my Superb to see what her Fabia is reporting as an error. Right now I am trying to work out if this is a problem with the DPF or if the sensor is at fault. Was hoping for someone with some advice.
  8. Hi, I have a 2011 Skoda Fabia Diesel Manual reporting the following error on VCDS does the DPF need a regen or is this a sensor? 9. Hi Gizmo,

I have been following the steps in your Skoda Superb tried and tested thread to check my trailer activation has been done correctly.

I am struggling with the setting in Module 09 and cannot find the bit that needs to change. Can you take a look at the attached file with screen shots of what I see in Module 09

Thanks for any help you can provide.

  10. Hi Andysuew, THANKS - You nailed it, I had forgotten that I had set the seat preferences before my Towbar was fitted and also whilst these systems were off. So every time I get in the car the profile insets them. Just reprogrammed the seat whilst Thames preferences were on and now they are there every time I start the car.
  11. thanks Russ - so are you saying yours doesn't do what I am seeing?
  12. Yep that is how I assumed it would work too. But it seems that on mine it always disables them when I put the car in reverse as well. Dont know whether that is a Skoda service type issue or Tow Bar fitter issue who did the remapping along with fitting the OEM Tow Bar loom
  13. Thanks for responding On my car it Definitely disables them every time I put the car in reverse. Do you have a tow bar on your car? Just wondering if it's an effect of the OEM wiring kit for that?
  14. Sportline 2.0 Diesel 4x4 I've noticed in my car that Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Traffic AI do not stay enabled after I have turned off the car. I have to manually turn them on every time I drive using teh controls on teh right of the steering wheel They possibly get turned off when I put the car in reverse (seems to be the common factor), but they never get turned on again afterwards. Can anyone else tell me is this is the same on their car - wondering if I have a fault? NOTE: I do have a tow bar on my car but its not fitted and there is nothing plugged in the electrics for it (I know that rear traffic AI gets disabled automatically when something is connected)
  15. Sorry BillyJIm, I didn't mean to offend by my naivety and was in fa t too lazy to go looking back for the car spec. Thanks a lot for the info, good to know where I can check for updates in future - appreciated
