  1. Oh wow, so released just after build date. That is brilliant thank you so much. Garage team have been brilliant, I appreciate that they just can't go chopping out units but could be the source of it...maybe. Again, thanks dude.

  3. good evening , apologies late reply, been away. any help? garage still at a loss. re power had power disconnected for a hoist in boot to be fitted, unit kept playlist and all data, if that helps
  4. OK. New dealership, brand new Kodiaq May 2022. Perfect bar one gremlin that appears to be allergic to presenting it's self at the service dept. Amundsen header unit in a stock SE. The issue: (have read an though the forums re this and still no clear answer and I'm now back to the dealer again.) From my last communication.... .... we have a constant black out problem with the Amundsen informat header unit, we have to reset to factory settings constantly and when the android auto freezes, even after restarting the ignition sometimes you have to park and lock the car for ten minutes for it to clear, all the updates are done, happens with our without android auto active so its not that, happens with and without usb cable not that (tried several cables also), happens with or without usb media drive not that either, happens with or without bluetooth on so its not that, have left it after full reset and no phone added and still it happens so not that (phone is a pixel 6 all updates applied, even factory reset the darn handset in the interest of illimination) even happens with just radio on. When it works, at random it restarts and everything, programmes, playlists, speed dials, saved stations is wiped but it does remeber the handset details if it's been added which is crazy. It happens without notice and there is no pattern so bringing it back in for diagnosis again is going to be an ongoing challenge and we can’t be without the car for several days, which I fear sadly the answer will be we can’t replicate the problem. Not pulling a fast one, header unit is immaculate and scratch free… it just now very annoying and we strongly feel needs swapping out... So, are we possessed by a higher being out do we have a fault? Class one first world problem all things considered right now but starting to become tiresome.... Some times I wish the blighter would just snuff it totally kaputt so we can be done with it and over to warranty. Any ideas folks .... Point of order... I'm not asking how to euthanise it.
  5. Hola. If I'm breaking rules please delete. Just ordered a replacement KODIAQ (delivery ETA probably 2035 🙀) and they wanted £75.00 for a set. HOW MUCH??? I have ordered a set from carmats.co.uk and arrived in good time and order. Good communication a d I have to say their standard mats are actually better than the ones my 68Kodiaq came with and for the staggeringly low price of £19.99 Pic attached. Saved 55 notes, happy with that.

  11. Hi folks Asking on behalf of my father, 2012 fabia 1.4 only 17000 miles, (may be run in one day) Service dept saying water pump swap for a recon unit on cambelt service. While i get if high miles a tight new belt could cause problems with but the car has been very gently driven (ish as i bet he dose drop the clog, old habbits and all), no seriously and with such low miles we are struggling to see why the pump would need changing. I'm way out of my depth here as all my cars do regular miles and a i service as per schedule and so on.... all and any thoughts greatfully received. Kind regards, M ps: excuse typos - dyslexianess
