  1. Thank you all for your replies, I'll leave the compressor and the bottle of gunk out of the car when I present it for the MOT. I guess I'll have to move some of the junk out the boot so they can get access to the spare seeing as they need to see it if it's there.
  2. I did exactly the same, having looked on eBay the wheel and tyre was cheaper, just but with the tool kit and secure fixing it was more cost effective to get them from the dealer. A few months later after getting a full set of cross climate tyres fitted, I ended up with a puncture close to the sidewall, the spare wheel was fitted and worked a treat. So in my mind it's already paid for itself.
  3. I have changed the lux setting on my auto lights, so basically they revert back to dipped beam earlier as these led lights can dazzle like a gud un for the poor unsuspecting oncoming drivers. And another one with the front lights is that you can change the mph threshold for the full beam activation, basically because (when I travel to work, currently I'm WFH still since march) I travel a lot of small country lanes to and from work, so I have reduced the mph threshold so the full beam comes on at a lower speed, rather than the factory set speed, iirc it's set at 40 ish plus mph Also I have enabled the "other" rear fog light so I have one on both sides now rather than just one side. (You should find the bulb is already fitted) Also useful for summer or when a rain shower occurres out the blue is the remote button long press to lower or raise all the electric windows while simultaneously locking or unlocking the car doors. There is a stereo enhancement, iirc it adds an extra bass control to the standard stereo system. These are just a few of those that"may" be possible, it all depends on the factory fitted equipment you already have. Good luck and enjoy, plenty of info on here and some stickies with lots of info.
  4. My 67 reg Octavia estate is booked in for it's first MOT early next month, since I have had it I've added a dealership sourced spare wheel and tool kit. The question is, "will the MOT requirements look to test the car on the spec as it left the factory?", ie with the compressor and the bottle of gunk needing to be present, or will that be overlooked in lieu of a spare wheel and tool kit being present?" If any of you decent folk could advise that'll be great, I have been meaning to call the MOT place for the last few weeks but work keeps me from remembering lol. Thanks in advance 👍
