  1. https://uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?t=30700 https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=63712 These above links are similar to my issue. I have had the car for 11 to 12ish years and have maintained it according to the manufacturer specification. The car was remapped 5 years ago and was done in a very well reputed Indian tuner company called Pete's. I got the car fully scanned and even checked the injector values of the car while running and idle. I even got my friends car scanned and crossed checked the data but nothing seems wrong expect for the low battery voltage.
  2. At present there are no codes except for the low voltage. I checked my friends car which is same 1.4tdi and has clocked 120k but his car was quicker to drive when compared to mine. Mine has only done 80k miles there is no oil burn issue and no smoke to. Plus my car is even remapped, currently I even checked the injector values they are also showing normal values while idle and running.
  3. I checked using vcds there is no turbo or engine codes stored in the car. The only code was low battery voltage.
  4. Hello fellow members, I own a skoda Fabia 1.4pd tdi BNM. Today while doing a overtake there was a sudden power loss, almost like the turbo is not working and no boost. Soon after I pulled over and switched off the car and switched it on and viola the car fixed itself. After doing some research online I found many people are facing the same issue with the pd 1.4 but no one has given a solution for this issue. So if anyone here has found a solution please do share because losing power in middle of a overtake is kinda scary.
  5. The front works normally all the time. It's only the rear wiper which works when it likes to. Once it even started working without me switching it on. And I even tried turning on the front wipers and reversing, it worked few times and then it stopped working.
  6. Hello everyone greatings from india. I own a mk2 skoda Fabia 1.4tdi which has rear wiper and washer without defogger. Ever since I got the car the washer never worked though I could hear the motor working, but the wiper did work. But lately since past few years I noticed the rear wiper stopped working time to time. My main issue is that my wiper works when it like to. It has a mind of its own, morning it worked flawlessly but by night it's stops working. What could be the reason behind it? All suggestions welcomed Thank in advance.
  7. How do i message you through this thread or by other ways. As iam new i dont know much about this forum.
  8. Here in India the authorised and local service is very dodgy. They try to rip us of if we don't have any knowledge on the car. My friends rapid just done 50000km is consuming a lot of oil and the service center says it's common to consume close to 2 litres of oil every 10 to 15 thousand km.
  9. Thanks for the early reply. I will get a look at it, I'm just worried since i had a catastrophic gearbox failure at 95000 km and had to rebuild the whole unit and it wasn't cheap.
  10. Hi all, this is my first post in this forum. I own a Skoda Fabia mk2 1.4 tdi with 100000km (60000miles) resently when i got my car washed when i noticed a leak near the drive shaft and gearbox housing. I found out the gearbox shaft oil seal is on its way out. So i want to tackle this job as a diy as i dont trust any mechanics or garages near me. The only problem that i have is I'm unable to find the part number for the seal, since in India it's very difficult to get the spares for skodas i would like to know the part number for the outer gearbox oil seal so that i can buy it before i start the job as i dont want to get stranded after removing the seal since this is my sole ride๐Ÿ˜….
