  1. Hello, looking for some advice. Wanting to buy a diagnostic machine for checking faults or maybe exploring coding later on. Was planning on buying it for my 2008 PD170 vRS with the hopes of upgrading to an 2016+ Audi A6 Quattro at some stage this year. OBDEleven seems appealing with the ability to use "Apps" to unlock features on the car and was wondering if there was much that can be done with PD170? Another reason I'm hesitant on the OBDEleven is that reviews are fairly mixed between good and bad and whether its worth buying as a diagnostic tool and unlocking new features or just investing in a dedicated diagnostic tool would be a better choice. As the PD170 has a DPF like most newer cars it would also be helpful to be able to scan the Soot level also. Any guidance or advice would be appreciated! Or even other recommendations of tools! Jack
  2. Thanks! Its very strange. Its working for periods of time but then when I stop the car and come back out to start again there's nothing. Is there a relay on the line somewhere?
  3. Hello, My rear wiper and jet aren't working as well as the front windscreen washer jets aren't working. Faults codes received are 00156 which is Control Circuit Windshield Water Pump short circuit or ground and 02398 which is Control Circuit Rear Window Water Pump short circuit or ground. Have tried changing the fuses and checking that power is going through the fuses and they are fine. From previous reading people had problems with the cigarette lighter also not working but this is fine in my case. Also, there was people that said their fog lights weren't working but mine are working fine also. My headlight washer jets also operate as normal. This fault only started today but for a short period everything worked perfectly and then fault happened again and hasn't worked since. Could this be a relay or loose wire? These are the only 2 fault codes I'm receiving. Any help would be appreciated !
