  1. The garage did a fault code check and replaced a fuse. 200£....😬 54000 km on the clock..
  2. You are probably right..what is this issue with the red herrings? Think I might take the Yeti to a nearby garage and let them do a thorough check with pro instruments for the codes. Anyway many thanks for inputs. I will check in later to give you an update. Best regards!!
  3. Its become apparent to me that the Haldex clutch pump seems to be faulty. There is some old codes stored in the code reader, one of them stated "C111204" Haldex clutch pump faulty. But there is a massive amount of other codes under CAN Gateway (5) CS and ABS CS (1) and Cent elec.02391, 00924,00834,01259,01331,01332,01333,01334, CS(8). Very confusing😧.
  4. It is read in the 03-ABS Brakes Control system. What specific tool do you have in mind? Cannot afford a professional scanner, payed 600 for the Foxwell..
  5. J.R. you are right. 004- No signal/communication. But hard to know where to start looking. Sensors on each wheel is checked. Is it possible that the sensor itself could be U/S not showing any signs from outside? Also, when I read live data I can see that each sensor giving me input (Km/h) so not very suspicious to them. Any idea? BTW, I use Foxwell NT680 Pro.
  6. How would I know what generation Haldex is in my Skoda Yeti Adventure 2015? Fault codes 01324, Control module for all wheel drives.. etc is still present. Jacked up the car and removed and opened the control module to see if the circuit board was corroded which is was not. Does anyone believe that the fault code is related to a blocked strainer at the end of the Haldex pump? Kind regards!
  7. No guide for the amp size to use. Removed two fuses and now I do not remember which fuse to put where...🤔
  8. Many thanks for advise. I will check those pies and the T. Hopefully quick fix.
  9. Yeti Adventure 2015, 140 bhp. L/H Started driving and became aware that there was fumes in cabin. Drove aside and stopped the engine. There was some sort of fumes, not exhaust, rising from the very R/H corner, just behind the headlamp. Could not say for sure what kind of fumes it was. The fumes died out and we drove the 7.5 miles home without any trouble. The fumes came back then and is still coming if i try to start the engine. Suspected the heater (Webasto) at first but the fumes is there either on or off. What i also noticed during the way home was that the engine temp which is normally 90 degrees suddenly started to decrease to about 60-70 deg. before it returned to 90. Is this normal? Does anyone know what devices is "burried" in the RH corner of the engine compartment. I am afraid something could have come loose when I accidently drove in som deep snow an hour earlier...😏
  10. Ok-but can the cable that is already installed be used, and is there any difference between dab versus dab+ as regard to the antenna cable?
  11. Finally managed to unscrew the 22 mm nut and loosened antenna from the roof. Se the pics. This label was found on the underside of the antenna. Does anyone know if one of the connectors are ment for DAB+? Can these connectors be used for my Erisin Android head unit?
  12. Still struggeling with the aft part of the ceiling. How does one get access to unscrew these fasteners? Thanks..!
  13. Thanks! I will do some investigstion before i start tearing down the roof.
  14. Just installed my new android head unit. (ERISIN from AliXpress) A few issues... too low intensity on the screen which is probably something i will have to put up with. Bad reception on the DAB+ (probably) due to antenna location in windscreen corner. Does anyone know if it is possible to use the original FM antenna on the roof if it was replaced with a DAB+ antenna? Look like it is easy to unscrew and fit another one..(DAB+) The android head unit came with a gps antenna that i have placed above the glove compartment. Works ok. But i wonder if the original gps antenna on the roof has a cable attached to it which runs to the radio compartment- does anyone know? Is the upholstery in the ceiling difficult to remove for access to the roof mounted antenna? Couldnt see if it was any additional cables there when the android head unit was installed. Thanks.!
  15. Just installed my new android head unit. A few issues... Too low intensity on the screen. Bad reception on the DAB+ Does anyone know if it is possible to use the original gps antenna on the roof? And is it possible to replace the FM antenna that is colocated with the gps antenna with a original DAB+ antenna?
  16. Oh! Thank you. If that is all i have to look for it shouldnt be any problem finding one. Btw, if anyone can use my "old" radio i be glad to get rid of it. Bolero type- check the dataplate below. Norway has stopped broadcasting on the FM band so i need to look for DAB+(a few local radiostations still transmitting though...)
  17. Read most of the treads about head unit. Any who know if there is a version with Android 6.0 that fits the Octavia 2011 with Bolero installed? So far i only come across Android 5.1...
  18. Thank you all! You have been very helpful and the engine is running very fine now. Great forum!!
  19. The engine is running I was too focused on the caution lights altough they come on every time ignition comes on. And the ridiciolus sound. Lets check if there is power on the batt... Nope. My daughters Verso came in very handy but still not enough power to get the engine started. But it confirmed the the battery was flat- almost. Lessons learned.... check for power on the batt before you do anything else. Silly me Anyway- thank you for trying to help me!
  20. Yes i will try that now. BTW the instr book calls the steering system for "electromechanical" i think that is the reason why i couldnt locate the filler plug for fluid. Or have i misunderstood... I let you know. Thank you for good assistance
  21. Thanks, problem is that the engine will not start. So the car is stuck in the backyard. There is no leakage as this would be visible on the ground witch is covered with light flat stones. And there is this fluctuating noise from some place in engine compartment. (tikketikketikketikke...) high frequenzy.May be it is designed this way that the engine will not run when there is a steering problem.
  22. Hello, the other day i was changing tyres. The "summer tyres" was put on and the next day the car wouldnt start. The red power steering symbol was displayed on the dash and there was the clicking sound from the engine compartment, no joy.. "Contact the dealer" was also displayed. I have checked that no wires or any contacts have been disturbed as i had to remove the front wheels again just to be sure. There are obviously some sensor or failure that i cannot locate. Any advice or tips would be apreciated.
  23. Hello! Just wanted to say hello (again..). I live up north in Norway where Skoda is a perfect car (4X4) to own du to very harsh winterconditions. My car is a Ocatvia which recently have a few issues which i will tell you more about in apropriate forums. wiggo
