  1. Hi, A little help please, 2018 vRS TDI DSG with sports suspension. Local place want to know what suspension setup code to use for tracking/alignment as there are a few apparently. I've asked my dealer twice, nothing yet. Is there an easy way to find out? There is no sticker in the boot and no physical book. I do have reg and VIN... Thank you.
  2. Came out of a 2011 Superb Estate Elegance, never used. Wheel and fixings only. £20 collected or add delivery from EN5.
  3. Winter tyres speed setting? As others have said, it's an unusual Skoda sound and no visible warnings either is odd.
  4. Hi!

    Hello!👍
  5. @mattft86 are these replacement bits or painted/PlastDip'd?
  6. For the best quality replacement, try Superskoda: http://www.kopacek.com/OCTAVIA-III/ I believe they are a bit of a faff to fit but doable with patience.
  7. Which box please and can it be easily removed? Thx
  8. Thanks, I will mention it to the dealer at the next opportunity. They have already put a few things right for me and have been good as gold so far. It's a new to me 2018 car, I got it in December 2022. Dealer is Citygate, Bushy, Watford.
  9. I have noticed with my 2018 vRS TDI Auto, that there is no fwd creep too; more lurch! It's very annoying when other autos and torquey manuals you could creep on the brake. I do feel it is worse with a cold car/engine, less of a problem, less of a lurch forward when warmed up. I will get used to it I'm sure but the car WILL LURCH forward with the slightest touch of the accelerator or release of the footbrake when auto-hold/hill-hold disengages - not so much in reverse as others have said; it makes parking very nerve wracking! Judicious use of the handbrake might be the answer...
  10. Seems to be a common problem with the boot lights either in a failure of the holder or diode in the holder or by replacing with not so good quality LEDs. I'm not sure there is a setting to tell the car its LED and not Filament, I "think" the LED bulbs need to have the additional loading to act as filament so as not to confuse the system. I do not believe these lights are on CANBUS...? I have the same problem with a failed normal bulb and holder in the boot, disconnecting the holder cures my issue of alarm going off, hazards flashing and boot open warning.
  11. 👆This is the answer. The housing and the diode are at fault, even the bulb seems to be working fine.
  12. Dealer has now commented that it is a known problem for the light housing, not the bulb, to go faulty and cause these types of issues. A new one is on the way but for now I've just left it disconnected.
  13. Car up on ramps and three loose/sheared bolts holding the undertray in. Only obvious on ramps and needs force of air to move them. Problem now sorted 👍
  14. I can't see or feel anything obvious. Have mentioned it to dealer and they will take a look tomorrow along with a few other small things under warranty.
  15. No but problem is related as disconnecting the nearside boot light fixes the problem. Either the bulb, housing or diode is no good and therefore messing up the electrics. I'm hoping dealer will replace under warranty this week. I will report back to the couple of threads on here...
  16. Mine did this, it was the nearside boot light. Everything works fine when disconnected but when connected (it all works fine when unlocked) upon locking the car, the alarm will go off and the hazards flash, torch fin boot will flash and the Maxidot flashes the tailgate.
  17. A bit of a resurrection I know, but useful to understand if a replacement unit fixed it or it was just left disconnected? I have exactly the same issue with the nearside boot light.
  18. Solved! The chap from PF Jones is a clever bloke, he discovered that the nearside boot light was causing the issue. He disconnected it and everything now works just fine. During my own search just now, I found this which seems to be the same/related thing: So all is now well 😁
  19. Just had a tow bar fitted by a professional (not dealer), all OEM wiring etc. Now when locking the car, the alarm goes off and/or the indicators flash rapidly. The Maxidot shows a rapidly flashing image of the tailgate, but not red as it does when the tailgate is open and the inbuilt torch flashes too. If we press the tailgate unlock button the alarm state goes off. If we rearm, it repeats above. Is there a sensor that is not working/disconnected? Is there an adjustment on the tailgate latch we could look at? Thanks
  20. 2018 MKIII Octy vRS. My S22 Ultra works just fine on BT and Android Auto, no difference in making connections to my old Note8 or my Sons iPhone. S22 Ultra SM-S908B/DS Android 13 patched 1st Dec 2022 Amundsen 5Q0035874C H41 MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0471T 0471 Random thought... is it something to do with the "user" i.e. the key you have used is for person A so it's looking for person A's phone?
  21. Are there release notes / change log for MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T?
  22. Frustrating. Perhaps you could make a sound and/or video recording and post for us to listen to?
  23. Good point, I will take a look when it stops raining. Thanks...
