  1. For some reason, my car stopped communicating with the app yesterday. After 24 hours I got fed up of not being able to remote start the heating in this cold weather. According to the screen, the car claimed that there were full bars of LTE and internet connection. The SOS button was also green, but still the app said the car had not connected for 24 hours. So I pulled fuse 19 for 5 minutes. No improvement even after turning the car on a moving it. Then I pulled fuse 30 for 5 minutes. After turning the car on and moving it a little, it appeared as Connected in the app again and remote heating working again. I'm not sure what car owners who do not know about which fuses do what would be doing to overcome this problem!

If you have ANY problems with the flap on the Enyaq iV, I suggest asking for it to be replaced. Mine got stiffer and I contacted the dealer, and they said they would replace it. I'm glad I go it booked in, because a few weeks later it broke and will not stay closed when locked. So I have to tape it shut at the moment!! The dealer says the replacement is a long job because their battery specialist has to power down the main battery pack before the job starts. So, it is an all day job.
  3. Be interested how you get one
  4. There were two things I'm really wanting out of the update (due for me next week): Reversing Camera too dim at night (cars with standard rear light option). Charge scheduler does not work properly at the moment. So say, both are fixed now.
  5. Fuse 19. So often mentioned (and used to reset faults) that perhaps we should all wire it to a switch on the dashboard!
  6. Of course, this will come as 'total shock' to dealers, who have been telling me and many others 'there are no updates for your car and we know nothing of the ME3 software'. Great to see official statement that it includes rear camera update and quieter turn signals, as well as better battery management.
  7. Good suggestion, but unfortunatly not. I've checked that now and behaviour is the same.
  8. Does anyone know the answer to this mystery. Like most VW group cars, if you press and hold the lock / unlock button on the key fob, the windows will open or close. The manual tells you this, but says it applies to all 4 windows. On my car, 90% of the time, it only opens / closes the front windows. The other 10% of the time, it does all the windows. I've tried multiple presses, long holds, odd combinations, cannot seem to make all 4 windows open on command. Thanks
  9. Still looking great after 8 months
  10. A good video covering all the items fixed or new in Software version 3.0.0 Now we just have to find out how or when existing customers can get it!

Quite a number of sources said it should be out some time in 2022, so hoping some time soon. Mine is on 0792. Dealer says there are not updates, although obviously 0795 is ahead of my 0792...

Has anyone actually had the software update done by their dealer yet?

A good video by Skoda team themselves
  14. Will do thanks. Important to know the time is limited, as at 4 months already. Maybe get it done and the much expected Enyaq software update as well in Feb....
  15. Does anyone else have this issue on an Enyaq with the manual boot lid (not the electric one). Since new, the boot release has always seemed from the noise like it was 'tight' and the boot did not close without a good shove. But I have now noticed that the boot lid seems a little too low and has left a witness along the top of the rear bumper. Obviously when it is closed hard it is rubbing the bumper (but when at rest, there is a gap OK).
  16. Yes, it can 'see' markings which have been temporarily painted out. In contraflows it has seen the old markings and started to steer incorrectly.
  17. Yup, I saw that. But the delivery on the OEM item was up to 20 Euro (and the UK price was higher still).
  18. Recently bought this boot liner. Low cost and does the job. But plastic is rather hard and not non-slip rubber. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Liner-Skoda-Enyaq-Onwards-193988/dp/B09G76NPK4/ref=sr_1_1?crid=32P5YDTTSPI6V&keywords=Car+Boot+Liner+To+Fit+Skoda+Enyaq+2020+Onwards+Lower+193988&qid=1642189631&sprefix=car+boot+liner+to+fit+skoda+enyaq+2020+onwards+lower+193988%2Caps%2C91&sr=8-1
  19. I have the tan option. Looks great and had a colleague with Audi Q4 Etron wishing his was available with it....
  20. Would be really interested if anyone manages to turn off the lane keep assist function by default. It takes at least 3 button presses to turn it off each time you start. It works well on the motorway, but in narrow country roads, it 'bounces' tugging the wheel from one side to the other and is pretty annoying ....
  21. I've used VCDS borrowed from a friend many times. His cable is the old model and allowed unlimted VIN numbers to be used. But I think newer cables are linked to a certain number of VIN numbers so you have to pay for extra cars. I turned on cool stuff that was not even available on my car, just because I copied the codes from other VAG cars. Hill Hold Control, folding mirrors etc. A powerful but risky tool, as you can change some significant items.
  22. Totally agree and thing they are quite missunderstood by non EV owners. Lots of professional EV reviewers say stuff like 'forget granny chargers as they take over 20 hours'. But in practice this is not the case. Especially with the iV 60 which is more efficient than the iV 80 due to lower weight and less powerful motor (and is quicker to 80% on AC due to smaller battery), I use granny leads 3 times a week for 8 hours at work. Never need to charge at home or anywhere else. As I live rural, they this is the only real option anyway. As you say, using them also allows pre-heat without use of the battery.
  23. Thanks, which wireless OBD adaptor are you using with that? Good luck with getting your car and be interested to know if your app works well on it.
  24. HI, has anyone used the Car Scanner App with their Enyaq? It seems to be the most recommended by YouTubers reviewing EVs. Which wireless OBD2 adaptor works well with Enjaq? A lot of charging information seems to be available which you cannot access through the Skoda screens. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/car-scanner-elm-obd2/id1259933623
  25. Perhaps that's the plan? You can use the V2L function to plug in 240v-12v adaptor and then charge up the car's flat 12v battery 😆
