  9. ok maybe i can try get a bigger car than the fabia if i can.
  10. ok guys i am back on this topic as my car has broken down. my budget is only £1500. size wise i wouldnt mind a 7 seat as there are 7 of us in the same house. my old car is only 70 bhp and i would like one that is more than that as mine struggles quite abit. again, i want to stay with skoda as i know quite abit of them now as had mine for a good 7 years. not too sure which fuel to go for though, either diesel or petrol. also still undecided on either auto or manual.
  11. thank you i will get some money together then i will ask more questions. thank you again
  12. i was thinking about getting an octavia as my car is quite small, what do you think to octavias?

  15. ok guys as some of you are aware, my throw out bearing has started squealing so i might as well change the clutch while i am at it. which clutch would you recommend for a 70 bhp car? i believe the throw out bearing will be with the clutch if i buy one? many thanks
  16. thank you guys, i think i know what i need to do.
  17. also another new problem 😞 it stalls when i press on the clutch sometimes but it wont stall when i press on the gas and clutch at the same time. hope that makes sense.
  18. i want to try fit the bearing myself, what do you suggest? i know the part is very cheap. do i just take the gearbox out?
  19. i really like this car and also no money to get another one either.
  20. can i still drive it like that? i am guessing its expensive 😞
  21. hi guys another problem, every time i press the clutch, i can hear a loud squealing noise. anyone know how i can stop the squealing noise please? many thanks

  23. hi guys once my engine has been rebuilt, is there other things i should clean/service? i read that the fuel tank could do with a clean but i have no idea how to do that. so what other areas should i look at? i really want to try keep this car longer.
