Looking forward to getting my new car Thanks for your help Regards Steve
  4. Hi All Looking at buying a new Fabia color model with 16 inch wheels Was wondering about buying a spare wheel / space saver Can find a Skoda kit including a 15 inch tyre , but can't see anything with a 16 inch ? Does anyone know if Skoda sell a 16 inch spare tyre or space saver ? Does anyone know what the Fabia comes with a standard ( e.g. puncture repair kit etc ) Thanks Steve
  5. Skoda garage quoted £115 to supply 3 sparkplugs and fit !!! Are they difficult to fit DIY as I'm not paying £115 , when I can buy 3 sparkplugs for £18 Cheers Steve
  6. Just checked citigo use standard nickle plugs https://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/ngk-spark-plug-zker6a-10eg-96596-5 From specs appear to have a recommended service life of 30k They only cost about £6 a plug so might as well change them Regards
  7. Hello My 2019 citigo only has 24000 miles , wondering if spark plugs need replacing yet ? ( due a 4 year service soon) Not sure if plugs are iridium or normal ? Car is starting and running lovely Thanks Steve
  8. Dealer was not that interest in getting a sale , to be fair I said that I had other cars to test drive , did not give me a p/x figure for my citigo He said that all the deals were changing 1st April but did not know what changes are , think current offer is £500 off PCP which ain't amazing To be honest my citigo felt nice to drive on way home , just wish it was a big bigger at times My test drive on higher specs might have spoiled me , especially with the 110 engine
  9. Took out a 95 bhp comfort se model today , much preferred the 110 engine One thing I did notice was the comfort SE model ( same level as my current citigo SE) the seat cover quality seemed not as good quality on the Fabia than my 2019 citigo SE , guess its just cost cutting these days Cheers Steve
  10. Hi All Not sure weather to go for a 2023 1.0 TSI 95 or 110 engine I drove 110 version today and was plenty powerful , trying a 95 version tomorrow Any one have any recommendations / experience , much appreciated Regards Steve
  11. Hello Currently own a citigo which has been a great car for 4 years Looking at buying a new fabia , currently there is a £500 dealer contribution on PCP I bought my citigo new on pcp to get a dealer contribution and then settled off in full by using right to withdraw in 14 days This was back in 2019 , can I still use this with Skoda finance ? Regards Steve
  12. FIxed finally took dealer 4 attempts to fix ( still under warranty , just ) Lubricated suspension bushes no fix Replaced rear suspension units no fix Replaced suspension bushes no fix Replaced axle bush - Fixed So much nicer to drive a non squeaky car , I was close to giving up Cheers Steve
  13. Hi Just wondering if you can permanently turn off lane-assist or do you need to do every time the car is turned on ? Thanks Steve
  14. Hi All Currently have a 2019 citigo which I have been really pleased with , but looking for a change and like the look of the new fabia Test driven a SE comfort TSI 95 ps , really impressed , really comfy and well spec'd , got a really good p/x offer on my citigo PCP offer includes £500 deposit contribution , service pack deal and a years free insurance , so strong used prices seems to make going new a better deal ( 12 week build date) I bought my citigo on PCP and settled straight away and still kept my benefits Just wondering if you can still do this with a new Skoda , in my particular not sure what would happen to the free year insurance if i settled PCP deal and paid car off in full ? Would welcome any thoughts about people owning latest Fabia's / people who have recently settled their PCP deals by paying off in full Cheers Steve
  15. Dealer said no fault found , apparently they have greased rear suspension bushes but not made any difference sadly At least record of job for future if issues at 1st MOT They offered 8k part X which was a pleasant surprise as only paid 8500 new almost 3 years ago , think might part-x while prices are so high
  16. Many thanks any one know of VAG specialist in Worcester fairly local to Bromsgrove ? Thanks Steve
  17. Hi Noticed last couple of weeks on my 2019 citigo , 16k miles a creaky noise from Offside rear Notice more at low speed when going over bumps etc Sounds like coming from rear suspension / bush ?? or maybe rear drum brake area ? hard to tell Have checked all plastics are in place and they are tight and fine Got 3 months warranty left so booked in for next week for dealer to check Any one experienced similar ? If so what was the fix ? known issue ? Cheers Steve
  18. Many thanks Yep looks to be the same as the oil and inspection service , apart from removing wheels and a few more checks .... Not sure if the brake fluid needs changing after 3 years and 18000 miles ? Cheers Steve
  19. Hi Have owned my 2019 citigo from new and really been pleased Just coming up to 3 year service and started calling around for service quotes Mileage of car =18k BTW Supplier garage All Electric garage is quoting a Inspection service (oil & filter) £185 , an optional extended scope service bringing cost to £245 I asked what extended scope covered but was not really given a clear answer , was told just more checks ????? Another dealer Trust Skoda quoted oil & filter £130 and had no ideal what extended scope service meant ? They mentioned brake fluid needed to be changed as a option ???? not sure if needed ??? Can any one please shed some light what 3 year service is needed and what a extended scope service actually is / needed ??? Cheers Steve
  20. Hi topped up coolant reservoir slightly . Never noticed any more leaks , levels have all been fine since Cheers Steve
  21. Think the main problem is the pram , with child seat in rear seat no way it will fit , did not have grandchildren when bought the citigo so was not a factor at the time of buying I really don't want to sell the citigo as love driving a small car and like the cheap running costs Thanks for the replies Cheers Steve
  22. I completely agree trouble is can't get granddaughter pram in or my fishing gear
  23. Many thanks it's got to worth 6.5k part-x will try else where
