Mine is just a week old and it’s as quiet as my old a4 (14 plate from new )if not quieter, and as for the p7’s they are no louder than any other tyre I have had ,Dunlop’s on the Audi, but I do drive around all day I a van full of tools, so every thing seems quiet, just turn the radio on. cant believe people drive around listening for tyre roar or rattles, I think this p7 thing is a bit of a myth, it’s the poor state of the roads

Does anyone know how to find build date as mine is defo a my18 as it has the new screen and emergency button, but it would be interesting to know the exact build date

There is a date on the back cover 05.2017 if that’s correct then my car is nearly a year old

Only date I can find on it is issued by Skoda auto a.s 2017 it is the same as the online version you can download

Just had a look at the manual and there are 2 types for Columbus, must be a built in sim for emergency call thing

Picked mine up last week but it was built in November sportline 150 tdi and it has not got a sim slot, I thought they were standard on Columbus but obviously not

New 18 plate March 3rd service plan came free, the dealer originally gave me my figures back in September £288 month £5000 deposit final payment £10600 week before purchase he contacted me and said he had recalculated under the new finance package and monthly payments down £1 pound , deposit now only £4660 and free 2 year service plan sportline hatch 150 bhp dsg diesel Lazer white heated seats, windscreen and nozzles, spare wheel, traffic sign recognition , high beam assist I was chuffed took it on its first proper drive today ACC takes some getting used too, lovely car to drive dsg is so smooth and standard stereo is very good imo , first time I have had Xenons so very impressed very happy with car

Yes just had the call from Arrvell not collecting van and ime not risking a brand new car in this weather looks like next week now i bet the dealers are struggling to get out all the new cars busiest time of year

Been waiting for over six months for mine, and it’s been at the dealers since early November, supposed to pick up this Saturday from Gloucester about 35 miles away, but with this weather it looks like I might have wait, just took me 2 1/2 hours to drive home from Gloucester tonight so probably leave it Saturday for now, also can’t see Arvell coming to pick up my leased van tomorrow so I will be stuck with an uninsured van parked on a narrow street. Not the weekend I had planned,

Had a phone call from dealer and he has re calculated my finance on the new deal, first ordered in sept and was quoted £5000 deposit and £288 a month over 48 months and final payment of £10400 , new quote is now £287 a month but a reduction in deposit down to £4619 same final value and 2 free services chucked in, they did this off their own back,very impressed-with service so far,150 tdi dsg sportline hatch with heated seats,screen and nozzles, traffic sign recognition, spare wheel, high beam assist pick up this Saturday

Yes you are completely right, but couldn’t pick it up till March as my present lease doesn’t run out till feb 28th and I can’t afford the payments on both, I ordered early because I once had to wait 2 months for an Audi I had ordered and it was promised April and arrived June very inconvenient. It was the dozey dealer got his lead times wrong, though it will be nice to be the only one on the street with an 18 plate
