  1. Hi all, is there or has there ever been a carbon fibre bonnet produced for the prefl? I'm looking to add one as a weight reducing measure for future plans. And also to go with carbon already fitted to the car. Thanks.
  2. Should add it a 2007 petrol vrs
  3. Hi all, I have a mk2 prefl with the older instrument cluster. I was wondering if there was anything I can fit to update the dash area a little bit. As I've done so much to the car and I don't want it to look so dated inside. Thanks.
  4. Latest mod finally on the car and working.
  5. If you're looking for powerfold mirrors you will need, pair of mirrors, the door modules for both doors and the switch. It's simply a case of swapping them over for the powerfold parts. Should be plug n play. I've done this on my prefl vrs and a friends fl vrs.
  6. Quick test of the newest mod. Looks like it's going to work well.
  7. The next mod has started, door handle courtesy lights. Just awaiting new connectors to wire into the door loom.
  8. Powerfold mirrors on and working perfectly. The mirror caps look better in person, the carbon weave really pops. Also the Bentley wheels fitted yesterday.
  9. I've got a lot of time and money in the car already. I'm going to be doing a 3.2 vr6 turbo swap, which is a dsg gearbox. So looking at options. I have considered a non mfsw but with dsg function if available.
  10. New 19" wheels for the car. Satin black with lamborghini bronze lips.
  11. Thanks for your reply. I'm looking to swap my manual non mfsw for a dsg one as I'm doing an engine and gearbox swap. And will be going to dsg from manual. I'll have a search for mk3 dsg ones. Thanks again
  12. Hi all, I'm considering upgrading my tatty steering wheel. My car is a 2007 vrs. Can anyone help with advising on what would be a suitable option will need to have dsg. Would like something that functions as well as looks good. Thanks
  13. Well further to my last comment I'll be sticking with the golf r32 side skirts. As the ones supplied by the company don't fit the car and look and feel like guttering. Very poorly made. I will be fitting the powerfold mirrors on the car very soon. I'm after some advice on 4wd conversions, does the audi tt quattro system mate up to the mk2 chassis? Or am I best finding a mk5 golf to use the 4wd system from that? I've tried to do some research into the audi but drawing a blank. Thanks
  14. Next mods are some Ingo Noak Tuning side skirts, and powerfold mirrors. Should both be done mid January. These are the style skirts going on.
  15. Updated the climate controls, to a set of facelift ones. Looks much better.
  16. Hi, sorry it's the tfsi petrol.
  17. Hi all, I have a mk2 prefl vrs. And I'm looking at a coolerworx short shifter for it. But I'm confused about whether I require a top mount or bottom mount unit. Can anyone advise please? Thanks
  18. New stereo system is in.
  19. Quick question, I have a rear window spoiler that's come off twice after being fitted. What would you recommend to affix to the rear glass? It was fitted using tigerseal but that peeled off after a couple of months. And I'd like it to be on a lot longer. Thanks.
  20. This is the unit in my vrs.
  21. Hi all, I was wondering if the heater controls from a mk2 facelift would be a straight swap for my prefl? I know I'd need a new surround to suit too, just wondering as they look better than my 3 dials. And would they need coding in? Thanks
  22. New reg and a quick shot from a local meet. Will be doing some updates soon. One of which is a new boot release with built-in pop up camera. Will post on here when done.
  23. A quick shot of the car at cars in the park Lichfield from the weekend.
  24. They are, and really more supportive than the standard vrs ones.
  25. Bit of an update, limited edition seats fitted alongside diamond car mats.
