@nidza thanks for the reply I have checked them both visually, I am going to run a scan with vcds later today to see if anything shows up. Just strange they are both dead

Morning, I have MY13 Octavia with the Amunsden system installed however I have no power to the display or box in the glovebox, I have checked both fuses and they are fine! Any idea what else it can be apart from both items needing a repair - seems a bit strange they both have no power.

I have lane assist and have turned on a few bits HBA is turned on but I don’t get a symbol - I need to check what speed it’s set to! On my octavia elegance speed is not a factor!

@paulski I haven’t lost any heating yet which I suppose is good news or I haven’t noticed because I have heated seats!

I was informed today mine has the issue MY16 VRS 4x4 whilst it was in for an oil service. As there is no internal to service the coolant this is a design flaw that should be picked up by skoda\VW even if the vehicle has no warranty! It’s a matter of time before it happens unless you are very lucky! im booked in for a full flush on Wednesday I’m hoping this doesn’t get ugly.

I drove to oldham a few weeks ago to view a VRS I was picking up (600 mile round trip) I was left fuming as the car has runs in the paintwork! The guys selling the car from their car lot denied all knowledge of the poor repair ( apparently they never noticed!) beware. Hopefully picking up a 16 plate VRS 4x4 in Grey next week, once the outstanding work has been completed.

Good afternoon, I have noticed in the past when it is very cold my Amundsen unit played up - however now it's dead, I have checked the fuse which is ok.. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get it to turn on a possible reset? I have removed the device -unplugged for a few minutes and plugged it back in. (no joy still nothing) It may be completely dead and might need replacing - any tips tricks or ideas are appreciated as I have no use of any of the functions, I don't have the ODB cable to check for any fault codes. yesterday it kept restarting every few minutes which was very annoying. thanks in advance.
