vRS 170TDi Cork

Thank you, thats what i was thinking. a trip to the dealer now to see why it is not coming on. everything in the maxidot is showing activated.

Lads, just noticed tonight that the lights don't come on why i unlock the doors. i have check the maxi dot and it is selected. on my vRS they come on straight away when i open the doors on the fob. any ideas, are they std on the greenline? thanks, colin

I am changing to the new ones soon, any idea on the part numbers and prices of these? they look way nicer i think

They were for sale on the VAGDRIVERS.NET site when I was lucky to come across them. I got them for £550 Sterling and got the 4 Tyres today for 510 euro which was also a good deal as they have a extra load wall and Lip protector. ( got the tyres in Flynn Tyres in Newcastewest Limerick ) thanks, Colin

as Gaff said, yes some do come with them but In Ireland they charge 200 for the spare but i didn't take it as i was putting alloys on it. The one thing i didn't think of is that when you down pay the 200 euro you also loose out on the jack and the tyre iron and the yoke that holds a spare to the chassis. i'm getting them anyway down in the local breakers and then just throwing in 1 of the 4 wheels that came with it. cracking car for the price of it, are you dealing in the scrappage. make sure you add Bluetooth as it is well worth adding it and rear parking sensors are a must, that boot is a good bit back. it's heavy for that 1.9TDi so that is why mine will be getting a remap soon keep us posted

Lovely looking motor. I bought a set of Calitos for my wife's MKII Superb last week, just waiting for the tyres to come in 2 weeks. I must put them on the Combi to get a few pictures before I hand them over to her. She has the Greenline so I believe it is dropped 15mm already so i hope that is enough.

it happened my old 2007 vRS saloon, i got the dealer to re seat the boot fittings and I never got a drop again. As yours is new go straight back to them.

yes it is an excellent site for chatting about the car. there is a huge amount of knowledge tucked away in the site. also its like an extended family as everybody here helps each other out. i'm here now every day looking around

I love the look of this one, I just sold my vRS PD Saloon to by the TFSI Combi so I am defo going to get it lowered, not that much but close enough. One thing i've noticed from most of the pictures is that they are all lowered. must find out how much to drop it and then publish the pictures here. some excellent pictures so far.

After 9 weeks my wife's Greenline has arrived. I'll get some pictures up next weekend as it is ****ing rain outside now for the next few days. We are delighted with the car, The Irish Greenline spec comes with a lot as standard but she added Parking Sensors Front and Back, Heat Nozzels, Heat Seats, Tyre Pressure Monitor and Full Auto Park Assist.. I picked up a set of new 18"x8" - 2 Piece Audi Calito Alloys so getting tyres on the next payslip to replace the standard steel rims.

Sold to me, I'm picking them up on Saturday. Am i still be smiling, cracking deal I got. Saw them on VAGDRIVERS so acted fast. I will post some pictures once i get tyres on them. should get pics of them on the vRS but they will be going on the MKII Superb the wife is getting

Excellent, mine was built in week 9 and still no sign of it. The dealer told me that it was to be shipped into dublin sunday night to be shipped to Cork then Monday or Tuesday for pick up from them on Thursday or Friday. Can't wait now as she's asking me every day like a child.. thanks for note.. Sweet pictures there Darragh, the leather look fair nice.. best of luck with it.

excellent, i must give my sales guy in cork a ring tomorrow. My Saloon went into build in week 9 also so should be shipped now thanks for sharing this info

Interesting kit and looks well. nothing too mad. I'd skip the wheels as they look tiny in the hubs and top grill but i quite like the skirts and lips front and rear. even the bottom chrome grill looks ok wonder what prices they are quoting for them including delivery.

Just to give yee folks the latest. I rang the dealer yesterday and he had good news. The car started Monday on the production line and it should be delivered to Ireland just after St Patricks's day The wife can't wait now it. looking forward now myself to getting it.

Sorry to bug you guys, but anyone know where i could get the OFFSETS to suit the MK2 Superb. Wheel i'm looking at are 5 x 112 ET 31 8X18 if this helps? thanks, Colin
