our citigo iv has just been in for its service inspection at the main stealer 🤨
and the inspection report came back with high voltage battery charger faults but no other information such as fault codes. they wanted £115 per hour just to investigate. i was wondering if anyone else had experienced this issue and knew what the fault was as the car charges perfectly well on a home granny charger and public CCS chargers ?

Posted in the citigo project page but thought i would ask here to

Sorry to bring up a old thread but could you not add footwell lights that are powered from the ambient lights that light the dash trim on a 2020 citigo?
-

Skoda Move&Fun
The car is telling me it needs my skoda essentials but I am having a nightmare trying to get it to connect. It keeps asking for milage then to drive 3 miles and put in the new milage then it says unsuccessful

Whst app do i need to download to connect to a 2020 citigo electric Se L there are so many to choose from?
-
Not sure if it's a sign of up coming problems but as i thought the drivers door had not locked. I tried lubricant in the mechanism and took the lock cover off to access the key slot this was a little stiff to turn but did move and now the door locks as it should
-
Got home from work early hours of morning ( below freezing temperatures) went to lock the car with the fob and all locks clicked then it sounded like one or more locks unlocked again red light on door flashed then went constant red.
Drivers rear door was locked but it felt like the drivers door wasn't but as it was 3 am i didn't want to try and open the door incase the alarm went off waking everyone up.
Is this a known fault?

Camera with washer is an extra and most of them don’t have it but I only fit them with the washer. You can retrofit the washer to some cameras without it, just drill though the handle in the right place and plumb in as you normally would.
what do you use to plumb up the camera washer. do you just use a Y splitter from halfords and some washer hose or do you use the Skoda kit. if you use the Skoda kit do you have a part number for it as i fond one on cars-equipment but they want almost as much to post it as the kit costs ?

the nice man at skoda said the pr code is 1zf and they should be 276mm

This site is a godsend. It lists every pr code for your car. You'll find the front and rear brake disc codes along with a lot of other extra codes not even shown in your handbook or sticker:
-
Will have a look at that link when I get home from work and will give the local dealer a bell to see if they can shed some light on the subject. I am just not paying dealer prices to have them change disks and pads for over £300

The diameter of the front brake discs are easy to measure. It will probably be either 276mm or 288mm on the Skoda Octavia MK3 1.6TDI.
wheels, brakes | Skoda Octavia 2014, floating caliper brake front PR-1ZE
wheels, brakes | Skoda Octavia 2014, disc brake front PR-1ZF
If the car has code PR-1ZE then the diameter of the front brake discs is 288mm. If the car has code PR-1ZF then the diameter of the front brake discs is 276mm.
Thank you but stupid question how do I find the vehicle code?

Anyone know what size disks are fitted to the front of a 1.6 d dsg estate it's a 64 plates euro car parts list 3 sizes 288mm 276mm and 312mm?
-
Thanks would rather use TPS if possible over euro car parts

I want to set my fog lights as DRL and turn the original ones off. I am quite happy to do the coding but I already have the fog lights set as cornering lights and to come on with the full beam. So I have already used 3 channels per light is this the maximum or can I add this adaptation?
-
Where do you recommend getting disks and pads from as just tried looking on TPS and they don't list them just fluid and brake clean

The alarm should work but, my MY18 vRS245 stills freewheels in Eco mode, with a factory fitted towbar.
So yeah, your alarm needs work but, the freewheeling software may have been modified by Skoda
thanks will have to have another go through the coding

I finally got round to using my tow hitch in anger today with my bike rack and light board fitted and noticed some strange odditys. All the lights work as they should including the extra indicator light on the dash The reverse sensors cut out as they should and the trailer display shows up If I switch off the rear view camera. all good so far now here is what's odd my car is a dsg and I was lead to believe that the Eco roll mode should be deactivated when the car detects the trailer is attached also the alarm doesn't go off when the light board is unpluged with the car locked. I used my obd11 to code the towbar and it's not showing any faults when scanned any ideas?

I bought the footwell loom to complete the retro fit. Got all the car stripped down, and cane to install to the BCM C pin 72
the pin connector that is installed on the loom is too small?
anyone know what size connector I need to install so that it clips into the BCM properly?
I am having the same problem mine worked fine but the pin never fitted properly so am thinking about using a vag repair cable as this should have the correct size pin and then just splice into the footwell loom

i am thinking of doing the same mod and i am sure i found a guide somewhere if i find it i will post the link

I have no idea how the wiring goes for that, but if you have a look at the part numbers for the door controllers and get back to me, I can let you know if they are different. If so, I still have them and I can send them out to you for much cheapness
Just checked my car with my obd11 and it looks like I have midline controllers so it's just the wiring that's missing and a but of coding. So I will be looking at a trip to TPS to see if they can get the correct plugs and pins and the wiring diagram

high voltage battery charger fault
in Škoda Citigo
Posted
I will be honest we haven't ccs charged in months since we purchased the car last year as we charge at home.
From memory I think it would CCS charge anywhere around 37 to 50 kw. But would need to get my wife to run it low and go to the local ccs charging point to check
