  1. Mine is exactly the same as the video, although better than the through the wiper motor design on the mk2.
  2. My apologies, I posted someone elses photo by mistake, I have now amended my post..
  3. Thanks for the info, a very cursory look between rain squalls has revealed nothing. Hopefully it will not be raining as much tomorrow and I can check a bit better and where it goes through the door.
  4. Afternoon everyone.... 2014 Superb Elegance Estate 170bhp. For some time now the drivers window has lost its memory every time the ignition was switched off, then the other day the motion locks began working intermittently as well as windows from the drivers door switches, now now of that works and in addition the offside doors will not lock. My guess is that several wires in the drivers door loom are broken, the car is used for private hire and has 261,000 miles up. The local Stealer has just quoted me £168 for a new loom, I was too shocked to ask if that was PLUS VAT. Is there a go to place for parts like this please. Thanks in advance.
  5. Evening All, I have a 2014 Elegance Estate with 238,380 up. I bought it with 153k miles. It had a set of flebay Eurovis tyres on, then it has had 2 sets of Nexens which lasted just under 20k a set, the n/s rear always needed replacing before the others but I always change in axle pairs or full sets. Anyway, I didnt think 20k was particularly good out of a set and in Sept Costco had an offer on Goodyear Eagles so I fitted a set. As the car is a Private Hire I'm normally very fussy about things like tyres checking regularly. I was stunned this morning to find that after only 6,800 miles the rears were on the markers, now changed for new Nexens on the rear, plenty of tread left on the front Goodyears. Anyone else had anything similar, being front drive Im used to front tyres wearing faster than the rears.
  6. That looks great thank you very much. It is the whole of the drivers side that has no heat. When you fit the new one how does the flap know what position it should be in, do you set the dial to cold or something??
  7. Yes, Ive seen that, but thanks for looking I had the car in at the local Audi Indy the other week for another matter, they checked and said its the potentiometer for the flap motor. Ive just had the Columbus unit out to see if anything is visible but cant see anything. The Indy did say the dash has to come out, Im guessing seats, centre console then centre dash. The thermistor is not quite as accessible as the Golf or I would take it out and test it. Unfortunately I dont have VCDS
  8. Hi everyone, I have a 2014 Superb Elegance with Climatronic, diagnosed by Indy with inoperative driver side flap motor, warm air on passenger side but cold on drivers side, have done the flap reset to no avail. Has anyone changed one please? Can someone point me to a diagram/schematic so I can see exactly where it is please? If I change it will it need VCDS to set it up?
  9. Hi Carl, I would reset the heater flaps first. I had cooler air on one side and this sorted the problem. See vid below. https://youtu.be/L25Axh-piP0
  10. My Superb is a Jan 2014 Elegance, has just had the software update. I had assumed it was equipped with LEDs but not so, standard filament indicator bulbs in the rear.
