If I were in the owners position and everything now running normally, why would I want the mileage altered? All sounds very strange.

I may be very wrong but as the OP is brand new, posted this on 8th Feb and hasn't been heard of since - this thread has a criminal edge written all over it and I'd suggest the aim is more like how to take 10,000 miles off.

If webmasters are reading, it might be an idea to delete this thread as it sounds very dodgy indeed.

  2. Just fitted a Nextbase Dashcam that was previously in my Yeti into my new SKodiaq.

All fitted ok but the fuse locations don’t match up with the manual.

Disconnected what I thought was fuse 34 as recommended in the excellent installation guide

problem being as soon as I disconnected what should be fuse 34 the airbag warning came up. It’s definitely 3rd along from the left.

I’ve ended up using the next along Fuse 35 which flagged up a parking aid/assist warning but works fine for ignition on activation of the dashcam.

According to the latest on line manual and car manual the 3rd along should be fuse 34 (Air conditioning, reversing light switch, mirror.  I'm Either going mad, blind or both or my Kodiaq’s fuse locations are somehow "bespoke"

The only problem I have now is that the airbag warning comes up when I turn on the ignition. What’s the best way of getting it reset?

I don’t paying a few quid for a gadget to clear it as it would be useful in the future rather than going to a local VW specialist garage.

    Many thanks

Assuming you retract or remove the luggage cover when you have the dog cage in the boot, use the tether points that you mention in another way.

Get yourselves two cam straps and thread them through those tether points, one on each side of the boot and over your cage and just pull them tight. The cage won't move then, I use them for canoes that I carry on my roof rack - they work a treat. If you get long enough ones, probably 5 metres ones would do it, you would just need to loosen them off, which is very easy and move them to the sides of the crate to facilitate removal of the crate.

If you position them so the cam buckles can be reached from your rear doors, it will be easy to loosen them in an emergency. Failing that, carry a small sharp knife or a seat belt cutter in your glove box and they can be cut off.

    Like these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4PCS-Heavy-Duty-Ratchet-Straps-Tie-Down-Cargo-Luggage-Van-5m-Cam-Buckle-Belt/114065610347?hash=item1a8ed7166b:g:CbIAAOSwDnld

    That’s a good idea thanks.

  4. I’m thinking of replacing Yeti with a Karoq and there seems to be really good deals on the Sportline spec- the only problem is they don’t have the varioflex seats.

Do the sportline seats recline and slide backwards and forwards?

Considering the Karoq boot is slightly bigger than the Yeti, how does a varioflex Yeti compare to a Sportline Karoq for usable boot space?

Can anyone tell me do they inspect and collect your returning car on the same day, or is it inspection and then collection later?

I'm a month early trying to arrange termination as my VW T Roc has arrived in UK, just wondering what the process is

    Is it from VWFS?
