I have had my superb for 5 years and use this option all the time. I have never had to renew the remote battery so far. (hope I’m not tempting fate) Could there be a fault in your remote?

I have a 2014 superb L&K estate, and all three mirrors dim.

I’m thinking of doing this replacement. Did you take any photos coffin dodger? Please post them if you did.
