I have had my superb for 5 years and use this option all the time. I have never had to renew the remote battery so far. (hope I’m not tempting fate) Could there be a fault in your remote? -

I have a 2014 superb L&K estate, and all three mirrors dim. -

Not sure. I am working away from home just now. Only know it is 2 litre and only £30 road tax
