Side mirror folding while locking the car.

Featured Replies

Hello!

I've recently got into long coding to improve my car,

I am using VCDS and OBDeleven,

let me get to the point:

I want one thing: when i lock my car i want the mirrors to immediately fold... (when i hold the key for about 4 seconds, the mirrors fold, but it drains battery from the keys like crazy)

well some might say its easy but i've been trying now for 4 weeks and still no solution :/

I found videos of people making this work through VCDS but when they log in to 09 (central el.) they use code 31347. The problem is when use this code it says that its bad code.

I have already tried the other codes for the 09 (20107, 42013), it lets me in but there are wayyy less options to work with and most of them are - CHANNEL NOT AVAILABLE

thank you for any help. I hope we can find a solution, and i hope there is one :D.

I don't believe it's possible on this generation of car...

Maybe add a link to the guide you're trying to use and a vcds autoscan from your car 👍

Most of the guides you are reading are for the newer generation MQB cars.

As said, pretty sure it's not possible with the PQ35/PQ46 platform cars.

A thread from many many years back suggested the only way of achieving this would be by adding a relay. (i think in the drivers door-i do not recall any further details but it is here somewhere)

I have had my superb for 5 years and use this option all the time. I have never had to renew the remote battery so far. (hope I’m not tempting fate) Could there be a fault in your remote?
