Just had a towbar fitted by Indespension to my 2014 Mk3 Octavia Estate .. the bumper is cut on the underside, the rear cross section of the chassis is replaced with the tow bar .. I waited while it was fitted, it took about three and a half hours , lot of the time was spent doing the electrics for the lights and running the power from the fuse box in the glove box for the fridge and battery charging circuits.
