Luke warm air from the blowers
I should've said.... I was able to flow water through my clogged matrix btw, I assume it just wasn't able to get into the much finer elements but could bypass them through the larger pipes around it, but again I'm guessing.

Luke warm air from the blowers
I'm no expert but having had issues with my heater matrix I have a little experience. Mine was blocked due to the water pump breaking up and corrosion (according to the garage anyway). I changed the heater matrix myself so an easy enough job for a diyer, although I cursed a lot. Anyway, I found I got some heat through the blowers when running very slow but as soon as I turned the fans up the increase in airflow was too much for the matrix to heat up so turned cold - sounds similar to what you describe. I'd suggest changing the heater matrix and see what that does for you, I think it cost me £120 for the matrix but it fixed the issue straight off for me.

Rusty coloured stain on floor after car moved
I'd try and rule coolant out first, just monitor levels. Heater Matrix is in that area and can leak coolant, and I agree with ApertureS, it can get 'rusty'.

Apart from the flashing dashboard, how did the car behave/perform?

Heater element for additional air heating
Thanks @ApertureS, I'll try that tomorrow. I got the heater matrix off, in the end! Pipes took plenty of grunt to get off which must've bent them as they didn't align to the new matrix. Bit more grunt and lithium grease got there in the end.

Heater element for additional air heating
Skoda Superb mk3, 2016 2.0 Tdi Estate Manual (UK R.H.Drive) I changed my Heater Matrix at the weekend after a dodgy water pump crumbled and took it out of action (that's another story) so I had no hot, or even warm, air being produced at the vents. What surprised me though was when i got to it I also clearly seemed to have a 'Heater Element for additional air Heating', as the workshop manual calls it. (see uploaded pictures of it in situ and pulled out) I was surprised because Skoda say this only gets installed in Scandanavian countries (I guess due to the climate). What I'm wondering about now though is why this wasn't kicking in and heating the air for the vents even though the Heater Matrix was blocked?? Anyone got any idea why i've got it in my car and what it's supposed to do as it's seemingly not doing anything for me? Cheers. Anyone interested in knowing more about the ballache job of replacing a heater matrix, let me know.

Radio goes off when I am trying to charge phone on front or rear power sockets.
I think it's because the cigar lighter and radio antenna share the same circuit, plug both in and power drops, antenna not as effective and so lose signal unless in a high signal area. Happens on mine all the time and when I googled it, came across this explanation. The usb being a slow charge is just because it's a lower amp rating socket, nowt unusual about that one.

Interested to know the difference between 'snake oil' and the additives you hear about in premium fuel @toot?

Cambelt Replacement
I haven't looked tbh @Dieselgate, I'd drop the Service Centre at your local dealership a call. They definitely gave me the impression it was VAG wide but worth a check. Cheers.

Cambelt Replacement
Definitely @Bap33, I'm going to get the water pump and cambelt done, price to do them separately at different times is crazy.

Cambelt Replacement
I reckon you're right @Gabbo, I'm going to get it done with the water pump. 👍 It was strange to me the lady at Skoda was trying to tell me I didn't need to.

Cambelt Replacement
Hi all. I rang Marshall Skoda in Leicester today to ask about a replacement water pump (that's another story) and they told me that i didn't necessarily need to change the cambelt at the same time (I'm 80k and 7 years) as they have now officially decided to move away from the "5 years or 100k miles" after recent testing now gives them the confidence to advise "140k - 180k miles" with no age consideration any longer. Worth sharing I thought as there seems to be good debate on here as to why UK guidance is different to continent. Cheers.

Losing acceleration - please help!
Hi. My first post here so apologies if I'm not on the correct forum, hoping you guys can help though please as I'm not getting much joy with Google! I've a 2016 Superb, diesel, manual. All good, no real issues for 80k miles but recently I've been losing acceleration intermittently whilst traveling at 60-70 mph. It's like my revs are being limited as I still have power and if on a flat or decline then I can maintain speed but any incline I'm falling back and the dash is telling me to drop to 5th, 4th etc but again my revs seem to be limited and I cant get any acceleration. Sometimes it fixes itself if I drive through it but always resolves itself if I pull over, switch car off and back on again. I've changed the fuel filter, air filter, put Injection cleaner and cataclean through it but no joy. It's been happening for a few weeks now intermittently over probably a dozen incidents. I've got no lights flashing on my dash and plugging it into a code reader gave me nothing, no codes logged. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all.
