**** - only just noticed that! I wonder WTF is going on there! I bought it from a main dealer so just presumed they were all the same!

Sob. If you insist: ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ (Incidentally these were the photos sent to the company and on which they provided their quotes, so it should have been apparent whether or not they could do it....)

Grrr. Bloke was booked in to do the 'minor' repair first thing this morning. Turns up, takes one look at the wheels and says there's nothing he can do, no idea why his company sent him out. Bloody waste of time. Looks like a full refurb is the only way. *sigh*

Superb Estate Bumper Top Protection
I got mine from a dealer, but it's cheaper from here: https://skodapartsdirect.co.uk/product/skoda-superb-estate-2016-2019-boot-liner-rubber-for-vehicles-with-false-boot-floor-foldable/ The mat sits in/on the boot floor. The 'flaps' clip to it when it's folded on top - there are flaps to fold out to protect the seat backs when they're down, and the boot cover flap sits inbetween them when it's folded away.

I just picked up the OEM boot liner mat which has a fold out mat to cover the boot lip and bumper. I plumped for that to try and keep the ‘standard’ look.

Sportline vs SEL
Nope, standard suspension. I would have liked DCC. but in the timeframe I was working within, I couldn't find a car with it.

Sportline vs SEL
I’ve just got a newer Sportline Plus estate. I don’t find the MIB2.5 problematic at all, so I guess it’s horses for courses. The ride isn’t crashy at all - in fact I was pleasantly surprised how supple it is compared to what I was expecting, having driven other VAG products. It’s reasonably well controlled over bumps - bigger ones can be felt but it’s not jarring, and it flows over smaller stuff that my previous car with longer travel suspension and smaller wheels/larger sidewalls clattered over. I was worried the family would find it too much, but they’ve been very complimentary about the ride.

Retro fit rear camera on Superb 2018 with Columbus
@passatman62 unfortunately I wasn’t able to make the dates work to get over and see @ApertureS, but I have managed to get it installed by someone else which may not be ridiculously far for you. I ended up getting it done by VW Retrofit in Redditch: https://www.vw-retrofit.co.uk/product/skoda-superb-rear-view-camera-2019-and-up/ Bit of a pain to get to but very efficient - in and out in under two hours. Not the chattiest of chaps, nor particularly forthcoming with how it’s supposed to work after the installation etc, but bashed through it and it all works fine. May be an option for you?

Yep, just had a quote for £78 per wheel - not the worst in the world. Still trying to track down somewhere nearby that will fit rim protectors too.

I can't post pictures of mine, it's too upsetting!

Doh! Doesn't bode well... Spent last night googling rim protectors!

As the title says. Picked up my '19 plate Sportline Plus from the dealer yesterday. Nice drive back. Parked up quickly today as entered a space with traffic passing - managed to kerb both nearside wheels in doing so. 19" Vegas scratched to ****. I am a very unhappy man.

Nope, haven't got round to it yet. Doesn't bode well if you haven't though...

Who was that @passatman62? I'd love @ApertureS to do mine but it would be a full day out and 300+ miles for me so it'd be good to know if there's someone reliable out West.

Replacement (not stick-on) DSG paddles for Sportline Plus
I've trawled the various threads but have slightly struggled to find a definitive answer to this old chestnut. I'm after a set of replacement paddles for a MY19 Sportline Plus. I know about the Alixexpress/Amazon stick-ons and the Leyo Motorsport ones, and the latter would probably be the option if I can't find some actual replacement ones. I really don't want stick-on ones - I know they work for some people, but I'd rather stay OEM if I can't find some actual replacements. I contacted Racingline about theirs and though their website says they will fit, they don't actually have a confirmed fitment and when I emailed them (with vehicle reg) they said they wouldn't fit. I've seen the ST2 Performance ones but their website says only VW/Audi fitment, and they're in the States so an expensive gamble if they don't work! Not looking to start an argument about whether I'll use them or not - it's (honestly) the big kid in me having always wanted flappy paddles. Any recommendations gratefully received.

Is this the factory fitted towbar?
Hah, well done @StewA - I had my beady eye on that car as the spec seemed perfect to me but someone (you!) nipped in ahead of me! Hope you really enjoy it - I've ended up paying a lot more for a newer one and it doesn't have the tow bar so will have to shell out for that fairly soon!

Hello again!
Well, couldn't stay away, could I? After a hiatus with another car company that starts with 'S' (Subaru), I find myself making a welcome return to the Skoda fold. My first dalliance with a Skoda was my MK1 Octavia VRS estate, purchased in 2006: That did us proud until 2017 (though whoever thought white was a good look for the seats....🙄). Sadly departed to the great scrappers in the sky after a coming together with a Yodel HGV on the M4 - damage looked superficial but bent chassis rails meant it was a write-off. A few years with a Subaru Forester with some choice Prodrive accoutrements has been fun, but it's showing its considerable age so I am returning back to Europe, having just put down a deposit on a '19-plate Superb Estate 280 4X4. Quite looking forward to getting behind the wheel of that! Probably a fair bit faster than both previous cars but with hopefully a bit more of a modern driving experience!
