I did have a mid year mot date but had that pesky 6 month extension in covid so now it's winter time and thanks wino I've got it ordered now mate. Thanks all again and hopefully this resolves the issue I popped out in it today and it was drinking fuel like an audi r8 on steroids so might just leave it parked up till new sensor comes trouble I have is the missus likes to keep borrowing my other motor 😡

I had a good spray about eith carbon cleaner but no leaks showed up snd the revs never changed so no leak I think I'm going to swop out the sensor as soon as I can find one.

Yeah I get that mate point is it won't pass the mot eith this issue the emissions will be in the crapper until its fixed and I'm not sure what make is in atm I'm trying to find somewhere uk with good delivery but struggling to find one atm

Yeah and typically my mot is due in 2 weeks so im scrabbling to fix this issue always the way it seems lol.

Ok so done a rescan and had a check under the bonnet but I found a sub section on my scanner and its throwing up 3 codes these are p0130 p1176 o2 sensor correct behind catalyst B1 limit attained p0171 system running lean Seems more to this than I thought any ideas please guys. Thanks in advance.

Hoping I find a bad connection or eire on the 02 sensor at least its straight forward just a pia changing that front sensor glad I have the split socket for it lol.

Yeah I always do my own services and buy good parts tbh but anyway eill really go over it tomorrow as got day off and take out and clean everything and check the pipes etc again and report back eith any findings if nothing then will change out the 02 sensor as sepulchrave suggested 👍

I will have a good check of both to be on safe side and I'm always on the ball with service parts maybe to much lol based on the miles this car does do im pretty sure service else filters and oil etc its on the ball eill report back tomorrow when I've checked over everything.

What sort of figures should I be looking at obtaining on the short term fuel trims ???

Its been a couple of years maybe a bit longer now I think of it so will take your advice ans swap it out. I just did a quick 10 mile run down the motorway and its deffo low on fuel economy usually I get 48 to 50 on motorway it was like 40 tops all the way and only near the end did it start creeping back up.

Well the fault code is back and even though it seems to be running okay fuel economy is well down ive done a scan and will now post screen shots see if any of you technical guys can see anything

Yep I fixed one but in a matter of weeks i,ve been clobbered on both and this one is repairable will have a look about online a bit more.

Thats the wrong connector for mine mate unfortunately and I want both sides but I aint paying that for plastic covers lol ****take.

Problem also is it appears there are 2 different connectors mine is the block connector but all im finding are the ones with the 1 strip connector.

Hi are my wing mirrors counted as the small or large mirror housing. I was hoping to get new covers but can't source them and some idiot has again today whacked my one wing mirror destroying the cover 😕

I usually stick to my local sainsbury its tends to be a bit lower but prices atm are just crazy full stop.

Lol this car is stone cold sober compared to my other car which is why I'm starting to use this more with these fuel prices atm.

Cat thefts by me are terrible one guy died 2 weeks ago the jack failed and he got crushed guy came out next morning to go to work to find a pair of legs sticking out under his car I would like to say I felt sorry for the dead guy but in all honesty don't be a stealing scum bag lol. I've not driven the car much last 2 weeks as been in my main car so will give it a blast down the motorway tomorrow for 10 miles.
