So i,ve started making my little fabia look a bit nicer inside as its crap weather. So far colour stitched seat covers and steering wheel cover and i,ve started on carbon fiber wrapping parts of the interior (work in progress still) and wondered what you guys have done on your furbies to tart them up a bit.

I have a decent scanner thought it would have resolved the issue icarsoft vag2 scanner guess I need to look into vcds.

I know what you mean mate what annoys me is when I did the front shocks and springs I also swapped out the anti roll bar links and bushes,ball joints and track rod ends so i,m assuming they had the steering wheel slightly off center when they set it. Ive tried battery off for a bit and and had air bag back off again etc to make sure connected but this light will not go off and I got my mot in 2 months thats an instant fail 😞

Thats why I moved it as ive done all the suspension work and since it went off and had tracking set the steering wheel was slightly left.

I have same issue I had steering wheel off as it needed to be moved 1 click to the right to even it up and now airbag light on I will admit I never disconnected the battery on it so how do I get light to go off I used my scanner but it says no fault code and i tried to erase anyway but stays on now.

Cheers mate that will sort me out I just dont want to hammer at the butchered one till I have its replacement lol.

Hi again, So got some new rear brake shoes stripped drivers side down and wheel cylinder is leaking. Got a new one but when I came to replace it the last owner has butchered the retaining bolt. Does anyone know the size and where I could possibly get one of these from please ???

I think at this point only my body shell is original 😂

Having just done my fronts and rears only thing I would suggest maybe paying for is a local garage to fit the springs onto the shocks as I tried some spring compressors and honestly it scared me lol so I took them to garage and they mounted them on for 20 quid.

On a serious note Wino is your man he seems very knowledgeable on the electrics side of things.

fabia,s are greedy as soon as you show them some loving and lavish new gifts upon them they want more and start breaking stuff on purpose lol.

Yeah it was 18 months ago and the price then was £98 for the pair so was a great deal at the time.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I really like the look of those pepperpots and happen to know where a set are for sale question is they are 15inch now would I be able to fit to my car and would it change anything if so as in the speedo calibration and handling etc ???

Ok next job on my list is replacing my exhaust as mine is starting to look quite crusty my question is is my exhaust a 2 inch or 2.25 inch bore please ???

Will I need to do any kind of bleeding or anything after I put the new fluid in ???
